this was beautifully tragic and i love it. it really makes me feel for all of those faces that are glanced over in the newspapers, all those stories that nobody cares to hear. you are a great writer.

I loved this. So very very, freaking much. I’m actually crying because of the ending, and I knew it was sad from the beginning, but I was hoping it was the good kind of sad; the empathy people get from reading something heartfelt. And it was.
I’m also a little angry, because I don’t think I have the words to describe how good this story was. I loved your version of Roxas, the timing and way you wrote everything; a mixture of sweetness and bitterness. The switching of times was effortless, the interactions between Axel and Roxas was so natural. And I loved your Axel too. And your ‘Axel and Roxas’.

honestly, this is one of the best stories i've ever read. i can't even describe it. i almost cried at the end, it was so sad.

It was a tad confusing with the different flashbacks, but it made it unique, and that much better.
Roaxas and Axel had new, refreshing character quidelines, but it wasn't so different as to be considered OOC. They were perfectly well-rounded and developed into further aspects of their personalities. A great blend!
Probably the first believeable AkuRoku fanfic I've read--no matter how much I love the pairing, you made it work!
In short, I loved the whole thing!

Oh gods, that was horribly sad...you actually made me cry a bit...the ending completely reminded me of a vid on youtube, called One Headlight by Nikanaiko. Completely fits the story, you should check it out

Oh my. I need to get ready to launch into my review.

The best fics that I've read on this site are beautiful, well-written, funny, realistic and probably made me cry somewhere along the way. And Dispatch to the Sea Floor (great name, by the way) definitely makes the top 10, easy as pie.

" - with the bra dangling in his hand like a trophy - " Just one example of humour and good writing coming together. There are way too many for me to start listing here. Okay, another was this: " - they think watching a guy get kicked in the balls is freaking hilarious, so it's not like they're setting the bar for classy humour very high." I was ready to fall over laughing. And what is especially great about it is that it's so simple and not even going for a joke. Just stating a fact of life.

"Axel grins like a cat and it's sort of sweet." Now, there is a very specific reason why I just had to quote that. Axel is my angel. He well and truly is. And reading something that respects his canon personality and describes it in ways that make me smile... I never get tired of it.

The details, oh shit, the details. They're the stuff of life for good stories, and your writing has plenty of details like Axel humming an 80's song while he dances with the skirt.

I like the stark contrast between Roxas's home and the life he leads outside it. It really shows he wants to escape it. And also the reminders that Roxas is being abused make for some really intense foreshadowing.

It's very hard to decide what my favourite part is. It could be when Axel and Roxas are getting high and talking nonsense until Axel sort of confesses.

Now I had to search quite a while for the right word for what having Roxas dress in a skirt made me feel. And I can't do better than this: touched. Honestly. There is something utterly touching about the whole idea. You wrote it so beautifully. It makes me feel bad for Roxas because he's having trouble coming to terms with the fact that he's *a freak*. Which he's not, there are way worse things in this world than wanting to wear a skirt.

The memory from Roxas's childhood... way to twist the knife a little bit deeper. It's bittersweet and it reminds the reader that his father was not always abusive and drinking.

Damn, there are so many things I love about this fic, characterization being one of them. And the whispered 'run'.

I was so hopeful. I thought "yes, they're together and Roxas is going to get away again, cause they love each other. they're going to run away. axel is going to complain about how the world is unfair and roxas will continue to wear skirts." Then he died. It's fitting, I guess.
