Wow, this was so amazing! It had a great flow to it, the characters and their actions were well thought out. Great ups and downs, and you didn't give too much information at once but spread it out. Simply awesome. The only thing I wish, is that you had turned it into a longer, chaptered story. That said, you ended it at the perfect place. Thank you for this amazing work.

Well written and heartbreaking. Not so sure I like the ending though. It seems a bit too easy. But, fantastic angst throughout the story.

Sometime ago, I read a story very much like this. It was a chaptered fic encompassing ten or so chapters. Harry actually joined Vldemort at 15, because Voldemort had convinced him that it was the only way to stay alive. He didn't want to be the boy who lived. He didn't want to be everybody's hero. He just wanted to live. After he took thte mark, he refused to kill an innocent muggle and the Aurors caught the group of DE's he was with. Because he hadn't killed, he was only given five years. Dumbledore and Snape ended up klling Voldy, and several years later, Harry took the caretakers job, and for the same reasons, but his suicide attempts were before he returned to the castle. I liked the emotional impact, of both stories, but yours seems to hold more raw pain.

I wonder if anyone has written a story with the same premise, but that Harry cannot forgive himself, and ends up committing suicide. It's sort of morbid, but it would round out this series. Alorkin

That was the worset freaken story I have ever read. If your going to write a story about Harry being Betrayed that don't make him forgive them all or make them act like it never happened. I have never felt that senerio be so butchered and destroyed. That had to be one of the worst stories written under that story line!

Wow. What an emotional roller coaster. Well done. Love the nicer Severus. Wonderful story. I was not expecting the Story Harry told. I can understand his *need* for punishment, though. I liked how you had the characters react to Harry's reappearance. Loved Harry's flight from Hogwarts, and Sirius going after him. Ron's reaction when he finally found Harry was purely Ron, and exactly what I expected him to do.

Lots of emotion! And while I do prefer action, heart-to-heart stories are sometimes just what I need. Shows tons of in-depth human character.

Wow. amazing. this is probably going to be one of my absolute favorites. Can't believe I only just found it.

I liked this. Such a controversial story but you pulled it well off. The fact that this wasn't the 'normal' Harry the hero plot felt at first a bit dissatisfying but it faded on the background soon enough and though he wasn't the one who killed Voldemort didn't matter either. The how humain Harry's life isn't and what it was in here was a revelation that isn't seen a lot :)

I just finised reading Disarmed on SnapeXHarryML, and thought I would come over and read this. Both are truely gut wrenching stories, yet I enjoyed them both. Well, I'm off to do some more reading. )

Fabulous doesn't even start to decribe your story. Such a beautiful story, I almost cried a fair few times. Or perhaps I'm just a sentimental fool. -grins-

Anyway, I don't think any of the characters were OOC at all and I was pretty glad to see the changes in Sev. Killing Voldemort was a good thing for him isn't it?
