Geez, I thought you gave up on this thing. I've gotten really worried. But I understand that you were getting kind of tired of it. Death Note is, after all, over. But it's still nice to know you're going to finish this. And, man, did you put a twist on it. Poor Mello! And the end kinda left me in confusion. I can't wait for the next chapter so update!

lol please don't be mad at meh for waiting until the 15th chapter to review lol I just had to, because.. Well, I hadn't wanted to read this story, to be honest. I'm a MatxMello fan to, like, the death lol but I have been curious about MelloxNear lately.. so I decided it was only fair to torture myself with something MatxNear first as a sort of penance lmfao.
I must say, though, that this is very interesting. Even though you rushed some scenes out of the way, it still fit rather nicely. Of course, I had to comment because I was hoping for some MxM2 fluff to keep me happy. The way you placed it in, though, was very nice.
I'm not a MatxNear fan, and I may never be lol But that will not prevent me from praising this story. You're quite an effective writer, NEAR. Good job with this piece.
