You've done something really unique with this one, and I think I like it quite a lot. I love how you've retold part of the manga, adding Eiji's thoughts - I think it's a great way to ground your story and make it feel like part of the manga itself.

Now the ending, that surprised me. Not so what you did to Eiji, but the way it became Ibe's at the end. I like the idea of him as storyteller - that's what he was doing in NY in the first place, right?

Anyway, before this review becomes a novel, I'll wrap it up by saying good job. Please write more Bananan Fish.
