Wow. I loved it.

Ah, it has been a great long while since I've read a good Weslyria story-- and this definitely is good. I thought you wrote both characters well, and I really liked how you gave a sense of Illyria's predatory and often cold nature. You also captured Wes and Illyria's unique chemistry from the show-- the relationship is all kinds of wrong, but compelling and undeniable nonetheless. The only suggestions I have are that the story is said to take place a week after Fred's death, yet their relationship seems much more like the "Origin"/"Time Bomb" time frame or even a bit later. The only other little thing is Wes' idea that he would have killed Illyria if she hadn't looked like Fred, and she knows this. True, he would have TRIED, but I think Illyria wouldn't be overly concerned at his attempts-- not pre-power drain, anyway.

Great job, and I hope to read more!

I like how you incorporated Fred into this, with the italics and the little details you highlighted in Illyria's mannerisms. I don't remember if they actually existed on the show, but it was a nice touch.
