This was...um...I have absolutely no words to describe how amazing this chapter was. It was so very, very sad, but at the same time, happy. I'm glad that she was buried in such an amazing place, but I can't believe that she died! I cried when I read that part. And the part at the end, the funeral, the cape, and the inscription on the tree...wow. Just wow. Please update as soon as you can, because I must find out how life will be like without that happy, bouyant girl that made everything fun and, well, random.

Thanks for updating so quickly! It's always nice to be able to find a story I like so much be updated frequently enough for me to not give up on it. Although, the only thing that was bugging me this chapter was the lack of mentioning of the group's supplies. Surely they had to have gels or life bottles right? So why couldn't Ellie revive Raine and have her save Will? It seems unlikely for Ellie to remain dead for long, since that in itself would completely destroy the "timeline", but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I cried so hard during that! Will died and I almost had a mental breakdown, but when Ellie decided to give up her own life just to save him...that is the most romantic thing ever. And I love how Colette chose to do the same with Lloyd. That right there is true love between those two couples. Also, that last scene with Ellie and Colette...that was pure genius.

Seriously, I can't express to you how torn up I am from this chapter. It was amazing. I don't cry that often, but I had tears streaking down my cheeks as my mind was saying over and over "WTF! NO!"

Ellie still has the terror of being in a jail cell. Well, she didn't really have time to work on that mental scar. Still, those last 24 hours are still all her fault.

(The greatest proof that angels really didn't notice anything was that it didn't even faze them when a demented chef with a giant fork sprinted down the streets, dragging Will behind.) Great narrator comment.

Since Will hadn't been as pissed as he was when he met Yggdrassil this chapter I expected more rant/counter on the angel. Not that I disagree with him.

I guess this is the only way Ellie could use Holy Judgement. Too bad tha attack itself was a bit anticlimatic. Well, I could already say the thing wasn't going to work since she used it agains Kratos.

Will Kratos really consider that Ellie may know about his son?

And the realization that Ellie was going to use Sacrifice was... strong. Now I hope Will can find a Life Bottle on time. Then again, Cruxis needs Colette's body alive.

I suppose you aimed for this, me a the end is very waffy instead of the grim thoughts of death I could have expected on a situation like this. Nice last scene with Colette and Ellie.

STAY AWAY FROM THE LIGHT. Wow. I literally was holding my breathe as I read the last few lines of this chapter after Ellie/Colette finished casting Sacrifice. This is epic so far and I can't wait to read more :D
