Shinichi making a mistake? I'm not so sure I can believe that! (that's what reading the manga'll do to you, give you WAY high expectations about the characters) But, just as a note, you put Yuusaku within 100 yards of Shinichi at any side and he 'screws the case up sideways' to quote a fic I can't remember. It's true, he always gets it wrong when his dad's around and then Yuusaku drops in "I can't believe you were fooled by such a simple trick, Shinichi, it was obviously..." so yeah.

Personally, I support the death sentence, a life for a life and all that, but I can see the downsides to it. Some people, yeah, they deserve death, but are we the ones that really should be punishing them? I think they'll get it bad enough later on. But, once again, moral discussions are taboo on the internet with people you don't know and even those you do so I won't get too into it. Either way, it was great, as always.

Yay! FINALLY! He finally got it wrong! I've been waiting for this for a long time. A case Shinichi either got wrong or couldn't solve. The verdict: Shinichi Kudo is indeed a human being with actual flaws. So here's a cookie *gives cookie* for showing the more human side of our favorite detective.

Mr. Fluffykins... (hysterical laughter) You write Kaito really well, he's so damn funny! And poor Shinichi's depression too, you made it seem pretty real. It was great. Hope you'll write more of these! =)

Wa~! Great story. :D I'm sure that all of us fans of Detective Conan need to be reminded that Shinichi is just human, every once in a while. (He's the protagonist, but he makes mistakes, too!)

I love the idea for the story cuz it does get annoying when shinichi never makes mistakes because everyone makes mistakes sometime. I am with him on the view point of the death penalty to because no one should be killed but I could see the other point so I am in the middle. Anyways great fanfic.

I found it sad that Shinichi blame himself for the guy's death but the thing with Kaito and Heiji made to happy to stay sad.

Poor Shinichi, he had to fail sometime... I like the random addition of Kaito. The world needs more Kaito, as he is the balance to the never ending angst that is the DC/MK universe. Very nice with all the quotes, too.
