This story was absolutely amazing..! It was so well though and written, it shows you put a lot of time and dedication to it...

oh dear- having to connect to a Wraith Queen- ek. and all the while he's slowly deteriorating and his friends want to help but he's feeling so frustrated. and they are torn between not wanting him to die and maybe finding an answer to losing the wraith problem.
the scene with John and rodney where rodney's concern overides his normal enthusiasm for maths and physics is lovely. the pace ups with his health failng and the need for the mission to go now and his friends worry over him not wanting to Ascend.

the mind fight with the queen was intense as was John's reaction afterwards- ow! you write good rodney/john scenes- and the bit where they all ask hom to Ascend? sniff. then john suddenly realises how to fix himself and Rodney helps by suggesting they cool him down.

definatley one to re-read and savour again.

forgot to add in ch2 the bit where he interfaced with Atlantis HAL like was totally awesome- the coding and everything.Saving Lorne and the people fromthe wraith culling was pretty avdenturous too-taking himself of the drones radar and shooting each one by one- a bit spooky but blowing up the cruiser darn awesome.and saving the boy OMG. i love how Atlantis hums and glows for him. the idea of shutting off the wraith like putting the Borg to sleep- great fun.the fact that he can now react to the others feelings is freaky.

okay so here we go into the what and why's. the slow build up of sheppard's abilities is done very well. the visual aspect of it- the atoms moving while he's in the MRI- is great. the use of Teyla to help with his sudden overwhelming of voices and Atlantis in his head is well thought out. i'd forgotten she has abilities of her own. i love how his first thought when they tell him he's a super human maybe going to Ascend- that he needs to do something for the city- fight the wraith. I have no idea what the maths equations he and Rodney were tossing about are, but it all adds flavour to the story.the bit where John can't get the numbers out of his head fast enough is exhilarating.

I love how this starts with them trying to find some Jedi like attack sphere. the superheros banter is fun- do you watch alot of films?! i am useless at Maths so i am in awe of your research for the white board stuff you put in there. the slow build to John's abilities is good. when Rodney was superclever he was just clever, but for John here he can hear and manipulate matter as well as calculate. the bit with the hunger reminds me of that SG1 episode when they have the armbands and eat everyhting in sight. i know why he's hungry- he has to feed the brain cells!

Very nice work! And bonus: you actually made me look up stuff I didn't know before - like Mersenne primes! :-D

Cool ending to the story! I liked it just as much as the rest of it all. Very well done. I did half expect something to happen at the end, you know, like in X-Men 3, where Magneto finds that he does still have his powers despite the injections. But the ending of John just going back to normal fit the story. So...all that's left to say is thank you for the great read!

This was absolutely wonderful. I loved your descriptions of John battling the Queen's mind. And John flying around with Teyla. Acutally, I loved all the interactions you gave us. You did a great job with the characterizations and storyline. Thanks so much for sharing.
