I really love the interaction between Zidane and Dagger in this chapter, you're doing a wonderful job!

Heehee, I liked this chapter a lot. The way Zidane sleeps everywhere desperately makes me want to pick him up and cuddle him! Also, 'cryptic dog tag' - not the same one he was wearing in Initiating A Gaian? :-)Oh and:'including a pink feather-boa that he just couldn't throw away' - what the hell? Why!? *nudges myshu* oneshot explaining...? Please...? Or have I just missed something? :-)
Geez, I liked everything in this chapter so I wont go on. Though I really do think Zidane needs a great big hug... but I guess that's what Garnet's for... :pout: Keep up the good work!

Wow, this chapter's rather depressing...

It's just sad, how Zidane tries to hide his condition from Garnet... And he's already like a butterfly with clipped wings, living in the castle :(

But I'm still waiting eagerly for the next chapter :)

Nevermind the 'two feet tall and can inflict beserk', hornets are freakin' scary! My dad hit one with a plank of wood many years ago and it DIDNT DIE - I sympathise, Zidane.

Anyway, when i saw this update my stomach went through the floor. I worried I'd be crying buckets by the end of the night (and I'm helpless to resist reading your marvellous fanfics) but I'm glad that it wasn't as sad as I'd expected!

Love the argument between Garnet and Zidane - it was fitting and cute! 'the time you tricked me into riding that gargant with you' - heehee, not Brick by Brick, surely? Love it ;-) This made me laugh out loud: 'the time you told me I had to stick a penny in Grandma Pickle's ear or she wouldn't know I was paying her because she's blind' -HAHAHAHA. And this bit: 'Mikoto's letters on the subject of Genomes were so "enticing" (on a strictly academic level, Zidane prayed to the gods)' - bleh! Yet another nasty image of Mikoto! Darn you, Myu, leave her be! Hehe.

What else to say? Charming, thoughtful and with lovely insights into characters. Horray for future chapters, though I'll ready my waterproof mascara...

Let Zidane actually knock Dagger up himself in this story. I think it's more logical Genomes would be genetically compatible with Gaian races then not.

Let the poor man have that much, at least.

So i read this, realised I hadn't read 'Love is not enough', so read that, cried for about fifteen minutes, then re-read this. Honestly, I don't think my poor heart can take any more angst, but I love your work so i will read it ^_^ I'd like to know what these blanks are too. Just... try not to make me cry so hard this time, okay? :-p

...I can't remember if I left a review on it or not, but I absolutely loved Love is Not Enough. It was the first time a fanfiction's made me cry--not just have a little wibble in the corner of my mind, but full-on kleenex-wasting /cry./ It's... beautiful. To say the least.
