Loved this story! Written exceptionally well, smooth changes from section to section, few (if any) misspelled words (YES!). I love the way Steph turned out in this story. It all just seemed to be more realistic people-wise. She grew up, matured, quit letting her mother run her life. Thank you for such a fun read! Pam

I know I'm selfish but I'm so glad I got to read the whole story start to finish. It is beautifully written and even AU, I think it fits all the characters' personalities and actions. I love the addition of Julio. It gives depth to Ranger's actions. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Now I'm on chapter 67, dealt with at least some of the promised angst and still think this is one of the best fan fics I've ever read. The story just flows from one scene to the next. The dialog is so genuine. I'm trying to make this last as long as I can. :)

I found this story through a recommendation on a yahoo board. Though I'm only on chapter 36, it is one of the best fan fiction stories I have ever read. I love how all the characters are connecting to what we know from the Plum series. The new characters fit in flawlessly. I love the emotions, dialogue, and description that make this story flow together. I can already tell that I'm going to miss these characters when the story ends.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely loved that story. I don't know how I havn't found it before but it was wonderful! It was so sweet how you spent so much time developing the characters and then bringing them back together. Absolutely wonderful!!

This story is so well written. I can't be bothered to get up and eat dinner because I CANNOT tear myself away. And, I love dashboard so I'm listening to the album while reading... it takes over. This is the first time in a few chapters that I've remembered I'm not actually a part of the story, lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. And omce I started reading again today, I knew I wouldn't stop until I was finished.

Unfortunately I've had reviewing issues, it wouldn't let me at all today until the very end.

So things that stood out for me that I just didn't excpect and my reactions to them...

Omigod Rachel! - Which is exactly what I shouted out, in shock, to the coffee table or the bird - whoever was listening.

Rangerman - And I had the big aw moment and was grinning like a fool - it was just too cute.

Perhaps my eyes got a little fuzzy at Julio - just allergies I'm sure.

Thanks again for getting me to give this ago. I had big problems trying to pace myself to read this, I just couldn't walk away til I knew what was next. I love your Steph and Ranger.

Well you said to try it, even though its an AU story.

My first 'try' has me up to chapter 35 and I'm having an internal battle as to whether I should sleep (its 1am here in Australia), or keep reading.

I can picture all your settings, the beach, the restaurant, the apartment (Rangers muscles etc) ... I love a writer who can transport me like that and am in awe of people with that type of creativity and detail.

And you've also taught me that I've been in love with Ranger since BEFORE he met Steph in the cafe :)

I'll try and finish the rest off tomorrow. Can't wait to see where this journey goes next.

Holy mother of long stories! This was HOT and so sweet and I loved it! It took me a one week, 8 glasses of wine, 20 pieces of cheese, and about 110 cold showers to finish but it was so worth it.
