Very cute! I wanted to marry Data when I was seven! So I can relate to Zoe.
The story has been well written ,d I didn't find any glaring mistakes, so good job.

this is a great story and you should really continue it. I feel there should be more to it. I love Data he is one of my favorite characters along with Wesley of whom i like to pair him with in stories i have written, but well haven't posted yet, their not entierly finished lol. well im now babbling like data so im gunna stop. hope this work continues looking forward to seeing more.

What a great idea, to extend TNG beyond Starfleet. And what a revelation (one I never considered) that, where an android is concerned, being "too young" is moot because sooner or later the "timing" age-wise will be right. Very glad you like my stories, but as you say "my" Data was created in my head and everyone else should have theirs as well!

Really nice short piece. Would you consider developing this, character, backstory etc., into something longer? I suddenly have the urge to see someone give Data a social network outside of Starfleet!
