This was a great portrayal of River's world and her initial confusion when she realizes that again it was in her head and not aloud.

This was a very interesting piece! I haven't seen Firefly or Serentiy, so I was totally surprised that she was hearing everyone's thoughts. It was a nice twist to me, haha. You did a good job at subtly describing who the characters were and giving us insight to them via River.

I very muchly liked your twist on the prompt - making it "never silent" instead of silent.
