Sorry. It took only two days to read this, and I nearly cried the whole time. Hm...

When I saw that the last chapter is on I reread the whole story again before reading the epilogue. And I have to say your story is really a masterpiece.
This chapter was really great. I don’t know if I should feel happy or sad. But I like the fact that they still have so much of their original characters. Johnny is too restless to stay where Blackheart is and I think he is afraid, too. Of course he would be happy with him but he is afraid that he won’t be able to live a normal life, that it would not be the right thing for him. It’s hard to explain what I think.
I love the idea of Blackheart as an artist. I paint as well, though not half as good as he does, I’m sure. *grins* It’s great to see what he has made of himself in four years. I think he is as happy as he could be without Johnny. Those four years apart must have been a hard time for both of them, but that’s the price you have to pay when you fall in love with the Ghost Rider, I guess. That’s the part that made me sad, that Johnny will leave again. But at least you gave Blackheart (and us too) hope for a future, where both of them could be together. It may take a while until Malinda is grown up and it won’t be easy but in the end they will be together and that’s what makes me happy. ^^
'but I still feel it.' really, who doesn't think that's sad must have a heart made of stone.
The part with Milly and her friend Liz was really funny. I have to agree, Blackheart is hot. *grins* And Milly was almost scandalized, like ‘how can she say that, it’s gross’. But it’s good to see her like this after everything they went through. It helps that she can’t remember and so she grows up like a normal girl.
I don’t know what else to say than that your story left a turmoil of emotions and that I’m really sad that it’s finished now. I’m glad that you already started a new one. Just imagining going online and not checking if a new chapter is on is driving me crazy. *grins* And now I’m going to save ‘Hearts of Fire’ on my own laptop. And if one day the world breaks down or the internet is destroyed, I will switch my computer on I still can read your story. And since I’m beginning to talk nonsense I will spare you that. Just never quit writing *grins*

This review won't be as long as the last one I wrote, I'm sorry.
You've left us all curious about how the war ended. When Johnny woke up and everything was fine I was really relieved. And I'm also glad that I was right and Blackheart didn't die.
And although I didn't like Malinda at the beginning, I'm really glad that she has survived and was cured as well.
I already thought that Mephisto would make an appearance but Blackheart stood his ground and killed him. Although you can never know if a demon, especially such a powerful one, is really dead. But I'm always very suspicious about such things.
The last bit in the Chapel was a bit sad but that's how Johnny is. His charakter is staying the same as much as possible and I like that. And he is kind of right, Blackheart has to learn to handle things by himself. As long as Johnny won't completely leave him. But I can of course understand why Blackheart is sad, I would feel like that, too.
It was a very peaceful chapter after so much action, just what I needed today.
When you say 'to be concluded..' than that means there will be one more chapter, right?
I'm looking forward to it, as well as to a new chapter of your other story.

Yes! This is just utter brilliance! (How many times have I said that before? ...Doesn't matter.) What does matter is that this chapter was epic. You captured Michael's pure hatered for Mephisto so perfectly. Much love!
