I absolutely loved this story.

While I am Christian, I have a decent number of atheist friends, and I sometimes have conversations with one specific friend in particular on this topic. We both remain respectful, and it's good mental stimulation, especially since we're close enough friends and willing to expand on knowledge of each other's beliefs.

Nice to see someone who can state and defend opposite beliefs without being disrespectful. Major props. In my opinion, there is usually a degree of truth behind every myth and legend, and the pieces fit together in ways that we may not now, or ever understand. Still, it's ALWAYS good to learn both sides of the argument so you won't sound like an idiot if you ever have a conversation with someone of a different belief. :D

Heh. I live with someone who's very spiritual and we've have conversations similar to Kurama and Kuwabara's, especially on the points of who watches the gods, and karma. You wound the philosophy nicely through this, it was informative and forced one to think without being preachy. I also like how you wrapped it up at the end and brought it back home to YYH. Really well done.

w0w O.o

That was DEEP man, I mean, really deep XD
It was a very well written story. I know this cos usually when I read or hear about arguements about religion and science I get all depressed. Your story got me really interested.

Yeah, you're right on the button about the acceptance thing.

And once more, GREAT STORY! :D

OMG You're back! Yours are my favorite YYH fics to read, and you've inspired so much in the past that this makes me feel extremely giddy~!

Interesting conversation between Kuwabara and Kurama here. I love the ending, with Yusuke showing up. It's good to know they're there for each other, even after a couple years have passed.

This was well-written though I had to struggle with accepting Kuwabara in the role of being slightly intolerant since I think he's a pretty good guy that's pretty much there for people.

This was a very interesting one shot. I like the way you introduced Kurama and Kuwabara's different belief systems. I think you got both characters actions perfect, right down to Kurama's little motions indicating feeling guilty about Kuwabara. Great way to end it, as well.

I don't know why this caught my attention, but I'm glad it did...and yes everyone is entitled to his or her's own beliefs and one should never be judged for or by them...good job :)

That was really...clever, for lack of a better word (not that it wasn't clever, but it just doesn't seem to be the right word for it). I thought that it was interesting just to read the debate, but I liked how you incorporated Yu Yu Hakusho into it still, with the Lit. professor, et al. That is, you didn't make it just a debate that was fandom oblivious.
And to StaplersBreak, if he/she is reading this, you say "Just as long as, you know, no one is physically hurt." So I think that people should accept what other people believe as long as no one is hurt. Obviously, believing that people have the right to molest and kill children does not fall into the category of "No one is hurt." Conversely, I am forced to accept that other people don't accept everything, except for when, in their...non-acceptingness? I'm not sure that there is a word for it...they hurt people, either physically or verbally.

Gotta hate when that happens, your friends refuse your beliefs, to even acknowledge them, and it risks part of your friendship. (*sighs*) Sorry, rambling...

Nice work and I didn't spot any obvious errors though I didn't get to read it all at the same moment so I might have missed something small. Anyway, I liked it and it sure was an interesting read.

Z,

It's really difficult for me to put this into words, but I surely will try. I enjoyed that you made the reader think as they were reading. It was almost entirely dialogue, yet it wasn't just dialogue. The conversation between Kurama and Kuwabara was of great depth. Like I battle of minds, but not really a battle. I enjoyed that about this piece, that it was thought provoking, which is not something one finds much in fanfiction these days.

So, on that note, I can also hope that this is the start of another writing streak again. The Yuu Yuu Hakusho fandom is in dire need of talented writers such as yourself. I do miss your work, but if it is not another streak, then that is okay, too. :)

Sincerely,
Yo

Those ideals are not mutually exclusive. I thought that you were beyond generalizing like that. Guess not. Tell you what, if someone tells me that he/she BELIEVES people have a right to molest or kill children, you go right ahead and accept. Blah blah blah. I'll...do something else. People have a right to believe whatever they want. They also have the RIGHT to ACCEPT whatever the hell they want. Just as long as, you know, no one is physically hurt. My advice to you is, take off the peachy-keen sunglasses. People have a right to free will and you are being hypocritical.

Wow, that was great! I usually don't go for friendship fics, but I really enjoyed that one. Thanks for a great read!
