oh Gawd this rock my world

I haven't thought about Spike and Buffy for years, although there was once a time when I thought about nothing else. Until now, I have never been able to even finish a Buffy fic, although I'm sure there must be some good ones out there.

Anyway, I always wondered about those particular soul-issues you brought up, and I'm so happy that someone wrote a fic about them.

And it was a very well written fic, mature and subtle. You stayed in Spike's viewpoint even though Buffy did most of the talking, and wove in bits of back history and perceptive detail.

There was humor and affection, and an absence of angst, which I appreciated, because I find angst stressful. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for writing it.

This was HILARIOUS! I loved how he called Angel at the end - I thought it was going to be Giles, and I think Angel just added a satisfying twist. Great job with this story! And with the character of Spike. I thought Buffy was a little out of character for her older years, but definitely not her pre-Angelus years (I liked her so much better then).

Hahahaha! Now that is funny. Especially since I had recently been wondering a similar thing in relation to the the show. "And that's a good thing because Spikelus just sounds lame." Made me laugh for five minutes. Nice.

Excellent--it's about time somebody raised all these questions! And I fully approve of the lengths Spike is willing to go to in order to help Buffy find the answers...

I spend much too much time pondering what Joss was thinking myself. IT MAKES NO BLEEPIN' SENSE!

Heard one theory that, since Angel got his soul back as part of a CURSE, Angelus was actually worse the second time around. In the flashbacks, he does seem slightly less nasty, at least to other vampires, than he did the second time around.

On a possibly related note, the Judge said that Spike and Drusilla were tainted by humanity, and then 'cleansed' their similarly tainted minion Dalton, but when Angelus came back, he was pure of anything remotely not-evil, and the Judge could not burn him.

Definitely keep writing I liked it all. The spuffiness, the soul Q & A, and the call to Peaches lol. Sometimes the Angel-Spike relationship reminds me of a parent dealing with a mischievous child.

glad to see i'm not the only one that ventures around to different fandoms...loved this fic...the premise and the execution...nicely done...but i wouldn't expect much less from you...hope you continue it...since you did leave it wide open for more...
