It could be stretched out much more.
Just because those lines are the focus, doesn't mean it has to be the entire thing. You could have Sumeragi pondering over everything that's happened, and end with the prediction, or having a conversation with other surviving members, and have her think that at the end.

I like the idea you have, but for me it ended a bit too abruptly.
