I thought I'd thanked you for sending the list, I'm sorry about that. Anyway, not squicked, though I did have to google the Starcraft pair. If you ever compile the full list, that would be an interesting footnote to one of your chapters.

The intro of the androids and the grand unveiling of the star empire's name was entertaining, though I look forward to the big battle. And does the shipboard movement you mentioned have to do with haros?

Another fun chapter as always. There was the occasional missed spelling here and there, but it happens. Overall, I found the chapter to have some nice character development, especially for side characters.

I did like the section with Natarle's discussion, especially how smooth you got the Marine's dialogue into it.

Athrun's reaction after hearing the Magi's offical name was priceless. I almost did a spit take when hearing it. And nice way to introduce "Serpent Tail" into the work. Mercs always make the party more fun.

It would be nice to see the regular Seed characters once a while a little more. Lacus, Andy, Mu, Mir, Dearka seem to be left out of the fun. They need to get in some whimsical situation.

As for Azreal, what is he doing right now? Was he put on trial? Did some characters force him to watch the "Worse Movies of All Time" during the passing months? Or did a Magi Intelligence officer had fun extracting information from him? I know he's not so important in the big scheme, but I can't get my mind off it.

The conclusion was very nicely done. As always, a good, stirring speech to build up the drama. It helps build up the anticipation. As always, excellent work.

Hoo boy. The future looks bright. And that has many connotations...

How often do you get such a nice 'fluffy goodness' roll? could you mention the more extreme examples of rolls when they occur, if you haven't already. I can only think of two, dearka's death and the androids.

I do look forward to the asault on the Lodonia-type facilities. Hell, it could tun out to be a recruit-rich environment for the Magi.

Last thing: could we see a little interaction of Serpent's Tail and ZAFT? the thoughts of Serpent's tail on what extent to mangle the usable data?

And no offense, but I vote for more junk techs! The junkers and the manga series they belonged in was oh so much nicer and 'real' than GS and GSD.

(6): Old caveat of Magi ethics and sense of honor. Mercenaries, as their duty is literally to fulfill their contracts, are typically considered some of the most honorable soldiers in Existence. It is also expected that the mercenary commander is of such moral fortitude that he or she would not readily accept a contract requiring them to do dishonorable acts, which is considered the gold standard for Mercenaries among the Star Empires.

Gai basicly is that... he doesnt tend to take bad contracts. I mean... as of what a couple months ago at this point he took a contract from the Junk Guild to protect their Civilian Space Port they were building.

And Astray Variant? Lol.. It would be amusing if they found out the Red Frame was the Astray PROTOTYPE and a Gundam type itself. Still... the Astray is probably the best Mass Production Mobile Suit from the first War. They are basicly Gundam, Lite. Just like the Murasame is the best Mass Production machine from the Second War. The Murasame is good enough to take on Gundams without getting WTFownt.

here is a possible mod. replace freedoms plasma beam cannons with bustter cannaons it would give the freedom a bosst in heavy firepower. also have a rx-78 nt1 with beam machineguns instead of vulcans. just an idea

Another good chapter. The writing remains superb, and the ideas delightful.

I noticed that there were a few differences from the original story (like that the Casino incident happening after the announcement of the Task Force's name). It would be interesting to see what happened to Cagalli, or her friends reactions. Another scene that I would like to see redone is Natarle's conversation with the Marine when she was escorted. That was a rather interesting scene.

Sorry Sorry, I had like 30 story updates come in at once, took me a while to get through them all :D

But I really like this chapter, especially the thing between Cagalli and Calmira and the casino :D It was a nice way to inject some humor into the story. Plus I really like the way cagalli is developing. Who knows, you may be able to save her from the tragedy that was Cagalli in Destiny. Kinda sad that the casino was so rudely interrupted, but I guess that was the best way to end it. I hope that their not gonna be in too much trouble. Also what kinda authority does Wayne have over the members of the 3 ships alliance?

The Blossom also seems cool, I'll reserve judgment for after a few battles.

Nice to see the Jester uncovered. But to pull off what she did wouldn't it take some skill? and anyone with that kinda skill would be higher ranked wouldn't they?

And the name is revealed, nice tie in to the whole casino thing. I kinda like the Clancy thing of revealing the name. Another great chapter, and a nice people focused one. Too much action is a bad thing, since now we have more character development.

That's a question I hadn't thought of. But as even "fixed location" ghosts are traveling rapidly as the earth hurls though space, I'd say that it is the structure that ghosts attach to, and the ghost(s) would cross dimensions. On the other hand, the thought of flying through a region of space and hearing a ghostly Haro as you pass is creepier than ghosts roaming a ship.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you describe a card motif on a wall of the Mjolnr in an earlier chapter? Anyway, good chapter. I'm curious though. You've mentioned the Magi were not limited to humans, any aliens lurking around the fleet? And is Crystal Tokyo and the silver crystal on Terra 02?

Antoher well written chapter. Only one error I found was that a "9" was in between one word. But considering the ammount of material written, I'm amazed this is the only error I can find. Indeed, the quaility of the work has improved greatly.

Nice touch with the tradition of music. It gives the story an attuide that the fandom would love.

Speaking of which, I have to ask: Have you ever read read Keith Laumer?

Just for calrification, I did not think the doc was Fllay. When I first read the chapter, I first thought "Hey, Tibitha St. Germain is making a cameo!" (Tibitha was the Eng voice for Fllay). It reminds me of when Voice actors do different characters but sound the same.

To clear the confusion: AP Gov stands for Advanced Placement Government, a high school course that basically is supposed to be a collage course. If you take the so called "AP test" and make a certain score, then you can get credits for collage ahead of time.

You music taste is impeccable as is your rather interesting choice in the joker. A rather surprising twist it was. As for ideas that I could offer... well, Athrun and Kira drunk. On the Mjolner. I'll leave any extrapolations up to you. Maybe through Murdock into the mix.

The Doctor is an android? That really took m completely by suprise. I do have a question, is she an android or a bioroid? The deal with the production does seem to offer up some interesting possibilities. Definately a way for the Magi to expand their population to the levels they'll need. Of course it should offer up some tension between people coming up from earth the the Magi nation. But thats a while in the future.

I also did have 1 question, how are you gonna deal with teh Minovsky particles in the UC suits and the lack of suck technology in the CE suits? The presence of the particles would make a huge difference to the level of suit combat, if nothing else the radar jamming quality would be a huge advantage.

The bonding between Cagalli and Calmira is kinda nice, Lacus and Cagalli are too different personalities to really become best friends fast. Cagalli is much more action orientated and more apt to loose her temper or resolve things by force. Lacus is much more in control.

I'll have to think about the implications of the jump ships for a little while, but off the top of my head I cn see a major rush for the resources of mars. jupiter the astroid belt...probably much of the solar system. Zaft will probably have the initial advantage during this (assuming they get teh tech) but they lack the numbers which the EA will bring. Because of that and hte limited fleet available to the Magi we are likely to see conflict erupting on the other planets, out of hte Magi's initial sight. This might be a cause for hte implementation of an intelligence network. As I said, full thoughts coming soon :P

I like what you're doing with the biological CPUs. Although I would be careful, they seem almost sane, and much of their cool factor lies in their craziness :D

But the Magi are becoming increasingly interesting now, I can't wait to find out more about them.

I'd been thinking the Doc was an alien, not an android. That's an interesting way to deal with staffing issues. Though Aina's answer sounded firmly in the agnostic camp to me rather than declining to form an opinion.

On the age thing, Flay and Miriallia both enlisted at fifteen. Fourteen isn't that much younger, and I'm kind of surprised that's thrown Cagalli since she fought ZAFT at sixteen. What 'of age' should be is a bit sticky given that people mature mentally at different rates regardless of what society says. I once had a coworker that was twenty-seven going on twelve...

Be careful: As the Seed universe seems to operate on fantasy physics, the Moljnr's Haros could be haunted by vengeful ghosts should you go the reactor route. Harroo!

Seriously, though is the Haro race war going to be a slow slaughter or is Lacus' lot going to get transformed into something less annoying, and potentially more helpful?
