This tugged at my heart strings. We know Sam as a strong, assertive, complex soldier, scientist and leader. We never saw much of her as a woman (away from the job) so this portrayal of her vulnerability is super. Jack's compassion is equally good. Moving on to the sequel.

*sniffle* That was a remarkable story, so full of Sam and Jack as we know them. So glad Sam made the connection with Jack; I was all teary right from the start and when he said, 'C'mere' I nearly lost it, too. In any universe, any timeline; no matter when they go, there they are, connected. Loved this original scene. And a sequel - oh, yeah, waiting for it!
