I really enjoyed this! Even though I'm a shameless fan of smutty romance-y fics, I still enjoy an occasional friendship piece (and this one was very well written- very concise yet still delivered an emotional gut punch).

I loved the way you wrote Iruka in this, as well as the dynamic between the two teachers. Excellent job!

I REALLY liked it. The way you write the loneliness, confusion and little bit of boredom mixed in, it's very beautiful. I've read a lot of fics where they deal with Kakashi and Iruka after the chuunin exams but this is by far one of the best ones.

(As for Duck getting so many reviews, it's cause it's crack. I've found many people tend to get up, grab breakfast and read something light and humorous to start the day. Humor is always bound to get more reviews. But there are those of us who love the angst too!)
