Runadaemon 2009-10-18 . chapter 11Interesting. I feel like warning us that it was an AU fic would be nice. For a while I just kinda wondered where this fit into the manga, and then said screw it when Ren showed up. ^_^ I was amused with the Ren/Kyoko interaction. Heehee. Kyoko showing Sho an dangerous smile seems like it would never have happened in the manga though...lol Oh well. It made ME happy. ~_^ Thanks for writing. |
leavesfallingup 2009-09-27 . chapter 3What a match-up these two are. I've always felt that Ren was the true charter member of the LoveMe section. I think that Lory thought of the idea after watching Ren for five years.
Keep writing. Looking foreward to the next chapter. |
Shubhs 2009-09-21 . chapter 10LOVE the one shot!XP XD XD XD XD |
Tuli-Susi 2009-08-10 . chapter 4Gods how I loved this one! It is so deep and meaningful (is that even a word?) And very, very true. I have some friends who are brilliant actors/actresses but I feel that they take the acting a little too far. Even though they were in high school they were so flambouyant. So yeah, this piece touched me. |
Shubhs 2009-05-15 . chapter 8The drabbles were really nice and no offence but I have noticed that some dudes on fanfic really exaggerate the personalities of the characters so if you could be careful about that like you have been up until now, then it would be really cool...Anyways even if you decide to do that then its pretty cool cuz I am one of the dudes myself!LOL!Btw, reveal- to show something or someone to someone that they didn't know about already, revel- to bask in (Eg:The celebrity basked in all the fame she was getting )XP XD |
 Ishasuki Mitochi 2009-05-12 . chapter 8Cute. Nice characterization. Four stars! :) |
Ecki 2009-04-17 . chapter 7Wonderful series. Keep going and loving |
Tuli-Susi 2009-03-14 . chapter 6I really loved this little series. I haven't yet found such a fic in this fandom, usually it's all frivilous with the same story-line.
But this, this is serious and looks at the characters feelings and thought. And I find it so truthful and in character. I think a lot of people - me included - forget certaint things when reading the manga. Sho really did throw Kyoko away and women have killed for less. Both Kyoko and Ren have dark pasts - though we still don't really know Ren's backstory - and it has hurt them. Plus, Kyoko was at first, largely driven by anger and revenge. That's usually unhealthy... so thanks for remindin people that this manga does have its serious side.
Oh, you mentioned prompts, right? Well, how about Sho and Ren comparing Kyoko now to the little girl they knew/met.
And 'strings of fate'. Yashiro once remarked that Sho and Kyoko must be tied together to have so many encounters desptie the fact that they are in two seperate genres of entertainment.
I'll keep a look out for any more chapters that might happen to crop up! |
 KayKit 2009-03-09 . chapter 6It was interesting. |
Devilishduck 2009-03-09 . chapter 6...Who would Kyoko be with out her eccentric hate side...
A really, really successful actor I suppose... |
mangaaddict300 2009-03-09 . chapter 6macthes kyoko perfectly! and her without hate, then she would most likely be the innocent and quiet girl she was b4 sho ditched her |
Ishasuki Mitochi 2009-03-09 . chapter 6Don't apologize for the ending, that was the best part!
The last sentence brought everything into focus so suddenly, it was like an epiphany. Brilliant! I thought this was very well-written, nice similes by the way.
I can see a few areas that have th potential for excellence, but aren't quite there yet. For instance: the phrase "in the end" was somewhat over-used. Instead, you might used "Ultimately" "Finally" or a synonym.
The imagery was good, but it could have been better. For example: "It was like looking into a dark hole. No matter how hard she stared, she never knew how far it went, just that it was deep and might never end. There would be small shadows crawling out of the hole, trying to grab her, but she always made it a point to stay just outside it."
The beginning was striking and natural, but this passage might have been embellished further. Something like:
"It was like looking into a dark hole. No matter how hard or long she stared, she never knew how far it went, just that it was deep and might go on for all eternity. At times small shadows crawled, inched and clawed their way out of the hole, reaching to grab her, but she always made it a point to stay just outside it, on the edge. Just out of reach."
It probably isn't as obvious as I'd like it to be, but I'm just making this up on the spot, just to illustrate my point. I hope I've made myself clear. Anyway, great work. |
thats absurd.I LOVE IT 2009-03-09 . chapter 6I like the significance of her hate! no...wait..i LOVE the significance of her hate! I think its one of the best...wait...scratch that...THE BEST of all the Skip Beat! Kyoko contemplating fan-fictions! (i have no idea what else to call it so...meh) Even though its short it just...SO PERFECT! you revealed what Kyoko really thinks about the hate inside her, when most other fan-fictions just describe what others think of her hate. Keep up the amazing writing! |
Lost-puppyEYES 2009-03-08 . chapter 6poor Kyoko~! She need Ren to help her block that hole once and for all! |
Devilishduck 2009-01-03 . chapter 4This reminds me of the newest chapters of Skip Beat where Chiori (I hope I got that name right) despises Kyoko 'cause she could leave Mio's persona and become herself again, whereas was unable too |
