I love how encouraging Jade is to him...and then at then end when he says he's never gotten a present before...Well, it makes me go "Aw!" That was so lovely... It's so thoughtful of Ratchet to pick such a beautiful necklace for his spark partner on this special occasion. And goodness, I felt so bad for Ratchet - poor medic, it seems that his perfect moment is always intterupted by others when he finally has his private moment with Rose... *sigh*

Oh, Ironhide just ruined the perfect moment! *wails* I bet the weapons specialist did it on purpose just to get some sweet revenge for being scolded by the Autobot medic during all these hours...

The interaction between Ratchet and Rose described in this fic was quite lovely. Everytime I see a flubbergasted Ratchet whenever he sees his spark partner, I just can't help that silly grin on my face. Your version of Ratchet is absolutely cute! Jeez, he's such an adorable mech in your stories...

Wow, that was awesome! I was wondering about how Barricade killed Sideways when I first read Rose's death scene in 'The Day We Hailed the Heavens', and now I got a better view of the slaughter part after reading this one-shot. Maybe it's the rage and hatred that made Barricade so powerful in this chapter? I like that black mech but I have to say that he isn't really good at fighting, tp be honest... he couldn't even beat Bumblebee in the '07 movie. *sigh*

The emotions of all the characters here are very well written and detailed. Good job, my dear!

I actually feel bad for Warren Banes after reading this chapter, to be honest. He didn't have enough time staying with his lovely daughter when he was still in jail, and it seems that he just lost the last chance of having his dear Mikaela back when he agreed to let his daughter go to Virginia. Things changed so fast and everything just won't be the same anymore. Their embrace somehow made me feel sad and I really pity the lonely man... It's very kind and considerate of him to let Mikaela have her own freedom and do whatever she wants.

By the way, Sam's nervous reaction here is very wonderfully written, and that 'dragged-off-by-the-ears-and-hung-in-the-garage' threat is sort of amusing. Thank goodness Sam didn't get killed by the brawny man after this visit...

Oh dear, that must be a very horrendous memory to Sam and Miles! Just noticed that I haven't read these one-shots you've been writing for the Deux Claret series, and then I found this chapter is absolutely a cute one! No wonder Sam could remember that word so well... Although I have to say that many people here in Taiwan just love drinking those fruit/vegetable mixing beverages - including the asparagus juice - and some of those drink stalls in night markets can be very popular. I've never tried the asparagus drink myself, but I don't think it is really that bad. *shrug*

And Sam just saw Leiana Lopez before they were officially introduced to each other afterwards... It's fun to see some familiar faces here.

that is really good! I love how Jade and Bulkhead interacted with each other, especially as best friends. Bulkhead is more of the "best friend" type of Autobot, like Bumblebee and maybe Hound in G1. I know what is like for chapters taking a while, since I'm trying to work on a chapter of having the Autobots playing Energon tea party with Lyra (my OC and Starscream's and Alexis's daughter). Try to imagine Ironhide playing Energon tea party.

Aw, Bulkhead's in the story now! I finally got around to seeing TFA, and loved it! Bulkhead, Blitzwing, and Starscream (and his clones) were my favorites on the show. I am very much looking forward to reading more of Bulkhead in When We Dared the Dawn.

Jade's such a good person. Everyone deserves a person like her in their lives.
