Great chapter! I love the bits of fluff you've put in to develop the relationship. I also like the internal struggle Rhen is having over her own feelings.

Her name's Primera and she hangs out with a magic swordsman named Lantis... ANYWAY... It's about the same style of art as used in Aveyond.

Your interactions are great between all of the characters, and I'm glad you didn't have the thieves automatically believe Hector. They would have to be pretty terrible thieves to just believe some guy without making sure it would benefit them.

I'm just wondering, how did you choose the names of your original characters?

OMGOSH! haha THE ENDING IN BUILD C WAS THE BEST... i saved my game before i picked my options :P soo i wanted see how the Endings ENDS xD

First i choose To be queen of thais... i saw how it went when i pick that option... i didn;t like marrying haha Dameon xD

Then i picked Going back to Veldarah! HAHA I LOVE THAT ENDING :P cuz it says in the ending credits

"Rhen and Lars taught at shadwood academy for SEVERAL YEARS =]... After a short time, they were raised to High Sword Singer and High Sorcerer... then blah blahh... lol here's my favourite part... Rhen did not marry Lars...or maybe she did. hee hee even though they said maybe she did i was still happy ^^ they've been together for several years in shadwood academy which is awesome :D

That was very clever of Hector to get a copy of Rhen. I hope his cloning improves. Have you seen Naruto? Lots of filler, but the main character, Naruto, has a cloning technique, and as it develops, he can make more and even better clones. Oh! Speaking of clones, can Hector make his clones turn into something like... logs when they get hit? I mean, his clones should be based on something with actual mass; otherwise they would be called shades or shadows with no mass. Just a thought.

I like the developing romance between Rhen and Lars. Will we see a showdown between Dameon and Lars? Or do you have other plans for the Druid?

I very much enoy this story and eagerly wait for the next chapter.

and Lars hugging Rhen scene made me squeel. It's great thou that Rhen doesn't just jump back into his arms and realizes she loves him. She's angry and confused making her seem real and not at all shallow or anything.

I don't often review. I don't even go to FFN very often anymore. But your story has really motivated me to! WOW. I've recently fallen in love again with the Aveyond series, and I love this story! I'm a huge fan of Rhen/Lars and I must admit that I pouted a little at the way the game originally ended. Your take on the adventures post-game is imaginative and remains true to the characters of the game. I'm seriously at a loss at how amazed I am with this story. The breadth that you try to accomplish is staggering, but the depth of some of the issues you bring up (like the whole cheating thing) makes me yearn for more. I love how consistent you are with the "new" characters Rhen and Lars have chosen to travel with, and that you were adventurous enough to try building new relationships with new people rather than rehash interactions with some of the others. I love that there are tidbits of them scattered throughout the whole story, though. There are some spelling and grammar errors, but they're very easily overlooked. Needless to say I'm thrilled I've discovered your gem of a story, and I fervently hope for more! Thanks so much for this, and I'm eagerly waiting for your next update :)

Sometimes, I get the feeling that Lars is a bit too noble. For all that he argues and complains like the usual man, he tries too hard to make up for his past mistakes. Come to think of it, he acts like Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. XD Then again, it's the way he is. Lars shows hints of that general concern for others' well-being even in the game, in a very round-about sort of way despite his griping.

And Rhen... is starting to emerge from that safety-shell of DENIAL and her previous ignorance of Lars affections quite nicely. Her subconscious mutterings do wonders. ^^

The scene with the townspeople and their reactions is very well done, by the way. I really like how you made them antagonistic as opposed to being agreeable. It's a nice bit of realism that Rhen has to experience. Not everyone sees things the way you do, after all. ^_^ Good job!

I really like your story. Especially the flow of it. The conversation that HEctor, Rhen, Lars have seems so natural !
Of course I completely didn't remember who Hector was at first so I started playing Aveyond again and got hooked (again!)

Huh... I wonder what's up with the people of Dirkon? Do they think she's a coward for going away from her kingdom? Do they think she CAUSED it? Hum... So many possibilities.

The relationship you've now created between Rhen and Lars is really amusing and actually fairly realistic. They were teens during Aveyond, I think, and now they're young adults.

Don't agonize too much over spells either. They don't have to be the same as the ones in the games. Lars probably learned some new, more powerful spells and Rhen... well, she may have to use the same spells since she probably didn't get to practice much over the past two years (meaning she's a bit rusty when it comes to traveling and fighting). I do note that so far, Lars has done most of the fighting/protecting - at least "on screen". There are probably monster battles "off screen" where the others fight, but 90% of those battles don't matter because this is a story, not the video game and experience doesn't matter; therefore, most of those pointless battles that players ran into in the video game would just be a nuisance to write over and over again. So, all of those battles can be "off screen".

This was a pleasant surprise though. Your muse must be working you very hard to get two chapters out so close together. Keep working hard, muse!

Ah... The trials of traveling. ^_^ Poor Hector has to endure and will no doubt continue to endure, much teasing about Ylitta. But I really like the light-hearted bantering you put in, though. It's very much in keeping with Rhen's character; she acts like a sister to everybody. Thus, she has the right to 'interfere' in Hector's little infatuation. *snickers* As for Lars... I feel sorry for him. He must have nerves of steel or something to deal with all this love-issue mumbo-jumbo, when he has such a big problem himself. No wonder he spaced out. ^^;

And that passage... I remember that little hut very well. Those birdies are SO annoying; if you didn't dodge fast enough, you had to fight them. But for me, the worst experience was the CAVES. *goes swirly-eyed* I kept on getting lost in those, and almost didn't find Clearwater myself. I'm really glad you didn't include the traversing-through-the-caves part. ^^;

The part you added with Lars dragging Rhen away from her mum was very striking to me, for some reason. I guess it's because I can't imagine Dameon ever thinking of something like that and doing it for Rhen so she can pull herself together. It's one of the reasons why I like LarsxRhen so much. Both of them can support each other on a very truthful way.
