Great characterisation with Regan and Gabriel. And your protrayal of River and Jayne's relationship is fresh, they don't walk around acting like a Hallmark card, they've got their own set of problems, I love it.

No. I just wrote you yet another long and fancy review. And somehow it deleted itself. Jez.

Oh well - to sum it up - I am so overly in love with your River. That she mentions her parents as the parental unit and the incubator is just very Riveresque. Plus the amazing line "Cannot have chromosome donors in ignorance of upcoming nuptials."

I love that Jayne get's to be worried, and River get's to blabber about stuff, and be a bit selfish, before the whole assuring him of her everlasting love. I like that she gets to be that brat that always gets what she wants.

Also. The thing about Jayne wanting to be able to take care of her sans Simon if she had a fit, or just in general, -I think that's kinda inspired, cause really in Rayne fics, Simon's always there, like a safety.

Lastly I think it's nice that you get to see that she really could go back to her core world, -albeit she'd be looked upon as a bit cooky- but that she chooses to stay on Serenity. Oh, well. You ended up with a long babbly review anyhow. Huzzah. Jayne is a rainbow!

Jayne is like a gorram rainbow? Haha! So cute! I can't wait to see what else is in store for these two. More please!

God, this is amazing. The premise of this literally had me banging my hand into my head with anticipation, fear, and glee. So far amazing, Jayne meeting the Tams, oh dear lord. When they were less than enthusiastic about Serenity, that drew the line in the sand. I really hope you update soon

Oops...guilty as charged...so here is my act of contrition...a review!

The first chapter was kinda short, but had definite potential to grow into a very nice story, and the second chapter makes good on that promise! Poor Jayne...River has him wrapped around her tiny fingers, hasn't she...

I can't wait to see how he gets on in the 'civilised' world of the Tam's; I have this sinking feeling it won't be easy...

But no doubt River'll stand with him, right?
