Interesting. I never thought of it like that. I seem to remember the books saying something about [person] being a gamine turned criminal in the quest to be well-dressed... so I always thought of him as an orphan child on the street his whole life. This is much more interesting. I was slightly confused at first, because Marius and [person] are so similar-looking (and in the case of this story, -acting, especially when you mentioned the word 'nostrils') that I was convinced it was him. No idea why, as he doesn't have a mother! Then I remembered it was YOU who wrote this story, and then the pieces fell into place.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I remember reading this some time ago. It's rather interesting how you give both Monty and his mum such artistocratically vampiric features. XD It suits them, though. Certainly when compared to the "father." *eyeroll* Are you planning more for the story than before?
