i loved it that is just what kagome needed to feel alive, wanted, worthwhile. she is wiltering as you said. on another note i love the little fanfics within rosieB's fanfic you made keep it up

Oh, I fell for Sesshoumaru all over again when I read this chapter.

Oddly enough, I love Brandt as well :x Even more than Ranulf, even though he's also lovely.

This one was short, but very much to the point. Sesshomaru and Kagome's relationship is a very complicated one, but you've surmised it pretty well in this sub-chapter. They don't mean much to each other, but they are the only ones each other has. It's depressing and reassuring all at once.

I like that you let Kagome have this moment with Ranulf. Or that you let Sesshomaru let Kagome have this moment with the wolf. They'll probably never see each other again (or at least for a few years/decades). This time together is important; if only to immerse themselves in each other because they'll be unable to do so later. Hopefully, they'll be able to talk and resolve some of their issues.

So, did Kagome finished the jewel at eighteen or nineteen? Because, if my calculations are correct, it'd be weird that she'd be losing her virginity at one hundred and eighteen-years-old (if she is still, in fact, a virgin). And with another Inuyasha at that. <-- by "another Inuyasha" I mean his lot in life/circumstances and those which led her to befriend and love him. *hums*

I enjoyed this chapter as well. I loved that RosieB ventured into India during the course of this story (how could she not? It's wonderful and then there's the EIC, but...). I concur. Indian food is the best food in the world. Rice + bread + curry = Nirvana. Paratha and cumin are some of the greatest inventions. *hungry*

I really liked your reference to the scarfs (the number of times a day they become entangled must mean a long and extremely "happy" relationship ^^), wedding ceremony and your addition of your new character - Ranjit Singh Bhudraja. He sounds intriguing, crazy and completely lovable. I hope he makes another appearance.

All in all, this chapter was great. I appreciate the research that so obviously goes into this fic. You leanr something new everyday, no? In any case~ Please continue writing along side RosieB. You're a great writer and your stories compliment each other so well.

At first I thought them to be Ginta and Hakkaku. If only because they have that same habit of playing off of each other - and they're one of the few pairs we encounter in 'Inuyasha'. Te "pointy" features kept throwing me though. I was like, "wolves aren't 'pointy', foxes are". I hope they'll be in the next chapter. I'm loving the Sonnet 144 dedication. Sonnet 149 is a great one for Sesshomaru too. Very cute. I think you've really blended into RosieB's story and though Kagome's only been living with Sesshomaru for about a year, their actions are very believable. The two are so in character...

In any case, great interlude! *adds to favorites*

I've only read up to your warning, which brought about an abrupt laugh, and somehow I know I'm going to like this :)

I loved the chapter with the Wedding. But this third chapter was almost as good as the 1st one. While you warn us that Kagome might love another, it was othing that Rosie didn't say. Kagome admitted that she loved her dire wolf. What she hasn't admitted is just what she feels for guardian dog. What a sad and terrible tie they have with one another.

BUT - I've enjoyed these out-takes. Lovely lovely lovely.

Wow so Kagome managed to hold onto her virginity long enough to give it to a wolf that she would never leave Sess for...damn that is one lucky wolf! LOL loving the inserts that fit nicely in between the story Beside you in time! Keep up the great work the two of you are doing! can't wait for more inserts!

it seem like it's practicaly a part of the other story, with only the slightest differences in character interaction

i really enjoyed the first 2 chapters
and i was happy for the third one b/c it delves a little deeper into kagome's & ranulf's relationship

I actually skipped to the ending after reading your line about being horrified at the end, because I was so darned curious. I know, I really shouldn't have. I was horrified! But, then again, it makes sense, and I'm glad you put it in there. I mean, really, she's what--over a century old now? Human, but immortal. It makes sense. Anyways, great job!

Okay. First thing off my chest that I ACTUALLY would've told you LAST chapter: your writing style complements RosieB's well. I don't feel anything missing between reading her stories and yours. .>;
