It just occurred to me that when Jazz got worried about 'Bee being glitched by Soundwave, he mentions not having seen SW himself... when he so totally did. Yet he doesn't seem aware of the lie. And those bits of odd, anti-Autobot thinking he's having... So the plot thickens.

Mwuahaha, new strategy, I'm writing this review as I go along.

First off: There is no fragging way that Evacuation Routes datapad is just coincidence. No way. Someone's been in Jazz's office, and he touched that pad. Now, who would have grease on their hands?

Love the conversation about Prowl and Ratchet's...questionable activities, and the location of said activities. Too funny!

Definitely something fishy about Prowl thinking he'd offlined on his own. Either that, or he trusts Ratchet a heck of a lot, and Ratchet's not exactly worthy of that trust. I prefer the first option. Is the virus screwing with him? Trouble between the bonded?

In the rec room, Jazz's close proximity setting Sideswipe on edge? That why he's balling his fist up?

And holy crap, how has Jazz not noticed that there's something weird going on between Sunny and Sides? Can he not notice that Sideswipe gets weird whenever Sunstreaker's mentioned? Overly defensive, randomly changing the subject, I mean, Primus! Jazz sure is being thick!

Fight with Vitran: Sideswipe's battle protocols overriding everything else? Optics go white when he gets into a hostile situation, when Jazz tells him to stop, they go to a pale blue instead of white. Am I close?

Is it a coincidence that Sunstreaker was near the rec room, or did he start moving in that direction when he felt Sideswipe getting riled up? Faked nonchalance but was actually there to check up on his brother?

Ho hum. Now thinking about Sides talking to Jazz in the brig. Is it just normal anger at not being defended by his friend, or, has he really ever only had one goof bud in the world (Sunny) and has only that to base all relationships off of, thus believing that Jazz is going to treat him with the same loyalty Sunstreaker would? I'm probably reading way, way to much into this.

Okay, so...sorry about the horribly disjointed review. I've probably read between lines that weren't even there in the first place, trying to figure out if there's any clue to what's happening behind the scenes. Again, fantastic chapter. Loved the bit in the rec room, both Jazz's convo with Sides and the fight w/ Vitran. Good luck with Starcrossed, and this, and Three Small Words!

Just a quick question. Does Jazz or anybody on base know that Sides and Sunny are twins?

And then Prowl's sudden appearance.

Was Ratchet going to talk to Sides about something in his records, maybe his relationship to Sunny, but heard Prowl coming in and shooed him away. Didn't want Prowl asking questions about Sides being in there, because then he might have to reveal what he found in his records.

You probably won't tell me if I'm right or not. That's okay. It'll be wicked to see all these unanswered questions come together.

Oh Jazz...Oh, oh Jazz!
This is really what I mean about this story stinging in a beautiful way. I get more and more fretful with every single subtle cue you oh so casually fling our direction. You are so sitting there and laughing evilly while you write aren't you? XD I love that you have the control as a writer to do what you are doing and mask it so well! It's hard, at least for me, to do the whole underneath the underneath sort of thing; I write too fluidly for that kind of planning. =( Haha! I'm really getting into the whole horror movie-ish aspect of this! I totally find myself yelling at the computer, "No! Don't do it! Don't do that-someone stop him!! No!" at some point during, well, every chapter! What I meant in my earlier comment about hoping if what I am assuming is wrong...I was just wondering about the overall ironic parallels of the story and just how deep they might run, 'cause man, dang and wow if you do decide to take it that far! =o This story is so refreshing to read with all the dribble that is on this site now days! I just can't say that enough.
