i hate to tell you this, my dear. Though the story was well written, I didn't particularly like it. I am truly all for Havers and Lynley to get together, but it would never work since he is still in love with his wife. Even now during the separation, all he can think on is her.

That was so sweet. I'm only through Season 2 of Inspector Lynley, but I didn't mind reading this fic. I was so scared for a minute there when Barbara took that beating, but I'm glad Lynley managed to save her. Personally, I think he should have ditched Helen, just remained good friends with her and gone for Barbara instead. Good fic! Good read!
