It's you, you're the one who writes the House/Discworld crossovers! :D This is incredible! I would never in a million years think that House and Discworld could possibly be brought together at all, much less with this much polish and truth to both halves of the crossover. Really, really well done. :) Your writing of Death and The Death of Rats was unadulterate Pratchet, and Amber's excitement over becoming the Dean of Medicine at a Discworld hospital was perfectly in-character. Loved the section about her inability to believe in something about an afterlife, and her logic-fueled determination to find a way out of that predicament after all. Again, so completely Amber. Also loved the part about her being "Miss" for eternity...so true! ;) But best of all was that closing line, about how she won't even be getting off the bus...that was perfection itself. Despite their bickering, House and Amber cared about one another in some twisted way, even if it was primarly because they both cared so much about Wilson. I loved that section of the finale, and this fic was the first I've read that really paid tribute to it in such a creative and wonderfully sympathetic way.

Really, really great stuff. Definitely becoming a favorite. :)
