This is without question one of the most best T'Pring fics I have ever read. It was brilliantly written, I love how you cut straight to the heart of her life and her emotions and her struggle, and you did it without discounting the choice that she was forced to make and the repercussions it might have but also showing her as fundamentally heroic for standing up to oppression. And the ending was literally perfect. So basically, assuming you are even reading reviews on something posted so long ago, I fangirl this fic like nobody's business.

I'm so glad that I found this story! T'Pring as a character intrigues me so much, I often wonder if Spock every realized that every choice he made for "freedom" was one more shackle around T'Pring's leg...Thank you for sharing! I wish there were more stories about T'Pring!

Great story. You captured Vulcan, its culture and mentality perfectly. I've always had a sneaking sympathy for T'Pring's situation and I love the way you portray all your characters - strong but flawed in a realistic way. It's a much more interesting and believable take on the story than just T'Pring being a heartless bitch. She made a terrible choice for the sake of her freedom and autonomy, and struck a blow for Vulcan women. Good for her!

All the same, I would like to know what happened to T'Vashti. And why does T'Pring call Amanda "Lady" and Sarek just Sarek? Isn't he an Ambassador?

By the way, I agree with you about T'Pau's "thee's" and "thy's". It sounds ridiculous!

I just stumbled across this super, awesome story. Wow! I did not expect to like it, but it drew me in. You managed to create a sympathtic character out of one of the most vilified ones in the TOS 'verse.

It's pretty amazing. Somehow T'Pring ends up the hero in her own story and Spock and Amanda end up as some of the villians. Although the greatest is the stupid Vulcan traditions. I love Amanda except in your story - although mother lioness is a common characteristic for her in many stories. So many story have Amanda embracing Vulcan, but she did it of her own choice. She choose her life and husband, a choice T'Pring did not get.

This was a beautifully written piece of work. My friends and I just watched that episode a few days ago. There was popcorn throwing and shouts of "Bitch!" involved... You made a character that I would spit in her face into someone I could respect without vilifying Spock or changing events to suit your version of the 'truth'. Holy cow! You have talent.

That was an amazing story! You did an excellent job of making T'Pring come to life, and of showing her side of the situation.

That was an excellent and moving story. I like the way you wrote T'Pring and brought her into 3 dimensions. I will have to say, though, I thought you made Amanda a little too emotionally reactive. Otherwise, I thought the story was very well done.

I find it hard to find any Vulcan reprehensible and always felt that T'Pring must have had her reasons to challenge Spock in the way she did. Your story explains it beautifully. Thank you.

Woww! Well Done. You should have submitted this as a real book. I have read alot of them ,you have captured many of the nuances in the trek world . The only thing is, Spock would not have been unfaithful because he would have seen it as a matter of honor and self that This was a fantastic read.

Thank you for writing this story. I think that it is one of the best and most unique stories on this site, and I like how you gave each of the charactors unique personalities, even the Vulcans. Unlike most of the other fan fiction on this site, this story had depth, and it seemed very realistic. )
