i really really really enjoyed the story! i love twisted caracters and weird dark one-sided affections so gaia was quite a treat for me! and his relationship with bartimaeus! i'm not really into the whole bartxkitty thing or whatever human and djinny lover love stuff but it served well at the angry scenes barty came to.

i'll have to add it was quite a bit ooc but i honeslty didn't care that much. i still liked it.

p.s would you consider writing a faquarl, barty fanfiction like this? it just frustrates me that i can't find enough of them in fanfiction and fanart in general... please? think about it?

Its funny.. and I am happy that barty didnt destroy the pyrimids now that you remind me of it. He should trick Gaia, and kill him. I think this chapter makes it a bit more clear why Gaia seems to almost like Bartimaeus. He's really quite enigmatic - I hope we learn more about him before his (inevitable!) defeat. He's looking like quite the megalomaniac right now! Update soon!

I love the description at the beginning of the chapter. Egypt is a cool place, and you definately managed to capture its mystique. I'm glad you've decided on how the story will end, and the fact that it involves research is kind of exciting - I'm very curious! I can't help but wonder what Kitty plans to do whem she finds Bartimaeus. How will she release him from Gaia? She'd probably have to kill him (or have Stephen do it, he seems more than willing,) but I'm still not sure where I stand on whether or not Gaia is evil. His motivation for what he's been doing is still kind of unclear, and I'm such a suspicious person that I'm still expecting a big plot twist. ;)
