I read the manga and watched the anime. Never in it did it mention that Kaname was her blood brother, even half. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong though please. I was under the impression that her REAL brother died and the Kurens raised Kaname in his place. Also, Kaname states a few times that he is actually the "ancestor" of the Kurens. In the scene where Yuki's dad looses his life, he looks at Kaname and says "you are my son." As we all know, that has a deep meaning between adoptive parents and their kids.

So in my eyes, even if her real brother died and they used his body to resurrect Kaname, it's not her brother at all, it may LOOK like him but it's not. Not even blood because it states int he manga a few times that he has the blood of the ancestral Kuren. In the scene where he awakens her and Zero questions it, Kaname says "I wish I was her brother." Sure Yuki believes all this time that Kaname was her real brother, but Kaname knows the truth, he is not.

I will agree, it is disgusting that she refers to him as "brother" but if you notice, he doesn't refer to her as "sister". Of course, that doesn't stop him from taking advantage of it all and going with the flow.

All in all, I can't blame the author for her choice, but please understand, that with all the information given, Kaname was not her real nor half brother. He is Kaname Kuren, one of the ancestoral Kurens born way before Yuki who happen to fall in love with her. At least, thats the way I see it and I have long since moved on from this anime.

Unfortunate that you're stopping, but if you can't accept their technically incestual relationship (even though they're not even brother and sister) I'd rather you stopped because otherwise it will come through in the story ^_^

You don't have to worry about the Kaname/Yuuki pairing. They are not really brother and sister. He was just raised as her brother.

Don't worry about writing it, though. What you have so far sounds great! Just pull up a blank piece of paper, and start writin' it (it's what I do...XD) the ideas tend to just come...woah there (I mean the characters seem to do that xD )
