I really liked this story, but I would have THOROUGHLY enjoyed Sally getting one HELL of a beat down!

This was well-written, I like the concept, it was done without...cheesiness...it isn't contrived. And I like this Derek...he's a good change from the fanfic norm.

That story was hilarious, and you should seriously hug your plot bunny.Loved it, and the ending had a nice twist.

Loved this. You know, you got recommended over at Crack_Broom for an HP fic, and looking through the rest of your stories, I was astonished to fine that there was Life with Derek fanfic, or really, that the show I used to watch on Family all the time was well known and beloved enough to have people write fanfic for it. And Dasey? The thought of it had never crossed me mind. It was this fic that in one fell swoop completely had me jump onto this ship, and from your profile, your favorited stories and authors I spent literally the last month in the Dasey (and occasionally Lizwin) fandom. Coming back onto this story, I gotta say that reading it the second time just made me love the story more.

I just read this and I have to say it was amazing!

I was not expecting that accident to happen, even though afterwards I was like, "Oh.. That's a really cool idea, and I didn't even realize it!" Haha.

And Sally! Ugh! What a horrible person! I would have been furious if I was dating someone, told them something I was afraid of, and had them go and do it behind my back! So I just wanted to say I absolutely LOVED this!

It is five in the morning where I am; I have spent the past hour reading this story. Please take the time into consideration while reading this review -- I'm too exhausted to be articulate or profound.

But know this: this story was ** BRILLIANT. You've done a stellar job.

Even though I'm a full-fledged Dasey junkie, I'd still love your story if I haven't even watched the show. Although some parts were just a little over-dramatic, everything else was just fantastic- right down from the characterizations to the dialogue. The importance of the ringing cellphone as a plot device was really creative and well done; most authors wouldn't be able to pull it off like you.
Regardless of the fact that they're step siblings, Derek and Casey simply possess amazing chemistry when they're together. I just wish that they would get together on the show!

OMG this is was so beautifully written I wanted to cry near the end (even though the ending was a happy one, thank you for that). Definitely one of the top Life With Derek fanfics out there.
