I don't think you understand very well the characters you are meant to be portraying. Have you ever played the series?
Axel, who you have chosen as the main character of your farce, could well have been any Tom, Dick or Harry you wanted. I do hope this didn't cure your writers block, or we're in for a bumpy ride of bad fics with OOC characters and weak plots.

I suggest actually PLAYING the games you write fanfiction for, and for this storyline in particular, pay close attention to the newest release. I am aware this is only fanfiction, but if you MUST use characters you don't own, please use them as they are and not what you want them to be.

Other than that, I thought it was well written.
