I can't say anything but that this story is absolutely wonderful.

Wow - this is great! I love it. The opening paragraph really struck a chord with me listing the qualities of the serpent: knowledge, sensuality and medicine. Which makes me think of the the sannin: orochimaruknowledge, jiraiyasensuality and tsunademedicine. *Sigh* so subtle but there it is - the three of them are each broken in one way or another. They really were a trinity.

But this line has to be the best:

"There had been no golden apple or fall from grace that had led Kabuto to this enchantment."

That sums up the whole Orochimaru/Kabuto pairing perfectly. Kabuto is never a beguiled ingenue and it is not possible for Lord Orochimaru to be divine without a worshiper. They are indeed 'mates'

Orochimaru/Kabuto. It's so much more than "just" yaoi and you're the first person I've found who writes them that way.
