This was a tough one for our boys. Very tough for both of them. I'm sorry they had to go through something like that.

Well written and the characters are true to themselves.

I like the way it was laid out with the beginning in the present and going back a few days to the beginning of the hunt.

Well done.

Awesome story!

I love it when we see that the boys cannot go through all these emotional hunts unaffected. Must be so hard sometimes...

You raised some valid and interesting points here. Dean's already seeing some shades of grey this season, but a case like this is bound to make him question even more. I really like that he's asking Sam how he handles it, just like Sam asked him once how he handled the job. This is something I can see hitting Dean harder--kids always seem to--but there's a real sense of working together here, and both of them dealing with the issue healthily.
I just wish you hadn't been so adamant about Sam not believing in God a being and in Dean not reading the Bible. From what I've seen in the show, including Dean's knowledge of Biblical prophecy and their reliance on Christian church practices, that seems both a less probable and unnecessarily hard stance to take.

Awesome! Well done! I love the internal struggle here of both boys. It rings close to the show and it shows how much harder the hunt has gotten for them both with everything that's happened in the last three years.

Terrific story, and a good follow up to the issues brought up in Blood Lust. It's just like Dean to want to try and get the girls to move over peacefully, especially since they were hurting bad people. It really makes you have to think who the bad guys really are in that situation.

Oh, that was such a wonderful story! Poor Dean, having to anguish so much about those poor sister ghosts. And Sam, reassuring him. After all, they're brothers who stick together, no matter what. You know I always love to read anything of yours, Theresa! Love, Robin

This was absolutely wonderful Theresa. I enjoyed it very much.

You chose the perfect source of angst for Dean in this one. Is emotional turmoil throughout was very pervasive and well done. The back and forth POV and the way you worked the timeline was very effective as well.

You know how to tell a good story :)

I liked how Sam just knows Dean so well. Standing close as a source of comfort but not actually touching. Very IC as much as I love me some brotherly affection in these little ficlets ;)

Such a sad scenario. Very well done girl. Awesome oneshot.

You used the song! *glee* Really do like this. Great conversations between the boys. Cool idea for the ghosts. Loved Dean's angst over where the spirits go when they salt and burn them. Nice that he allowed Sam to comfort him. The hints of why Emily was especially angry made me angry at her father. I share Dean's feelings that people who abuse children deserve whatever happens to them. Good job!
