This caught my eye because the main character was Sulu. I read many fics from across many fandoms, and I must tell you that your story has excellent pacing, characterizations and story weaving. My only complaint is the story is too short. You have done a wonderful job, and painted a beautiful story in my mind. This is going on my fave list. Most of the stories on it I will read again, but will eventually remove after a few times re-visiting. This story shall permanently stay on my list.

I'm impressed by the character study of Sulu, especially considering how often he gets overlooked. The characterization of Tormolen was great as well. I'm really impressed at how smoothly you incorporated him and Lt. Masters into the story. Of course, since most readers already know what happens to Tormolen in "The Naked Time," his presence in this story is extremely poignant.

Your plotting, characterization, and writing style are all flawless. This is one of the few fanfics I've read (from *any* fandom) that actually made me feel like I was watching an episode of the original show.
