I noticed that you kept switching between past and present tense. You need to stick with one and go. I find past tense easier, as do most writers, but present is used as well. I've never seen a future tense book, but I suppose it's possible...

I'm very glad you had Kim live! It's so sad when she dies at the end, even though I've never seen the musical. I often pretend that she did survive. With this, I guess I don't need to pretend anymore!
