While I'm very excited that you'll be posting new parts of this after the holidays; I do wish you had left the old chapters up, maybe with a note in the story that they are being re-worked. I was in the middle of re-reading this and wanted to enjoy where you left off previously regardless of if it will be included again because I enjoyed it as wit was. (i left a long review a couple of weeks back).

Marvelous story, very original, very well written! Your grammar seems quite allright to me, but then again, que sais-je, je suis Belge moi, ça me semble tout naturel. (isn't it fun to speak more than one language? Me, I was raised in a very particular patois of Dutch, so in school I firstly had to learn proper Dutch, then French, then English, then German... I tend to hussle everything up, grammarwise...)

Can't wait to see the next part.

PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE AGAIN SOON! I just read all ten chapters and I can't wait to read more!! I haven't read any that have Hagrid as a father figure, it's refreshing. And you could kind of tell where it looks like Ron is being a jerk. I really wasn't expecting that twist with Hermione, it's great though! By the way, PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE SOON again!

beautiful. absolutely beautiful. this is a wonderful story. for some reason, i don't see many father/son relationships between hagrid and harry.

is there any way to get draco less bratty? i'd really like to see him become actually involved. i have a bit of a soft spot for the blond.

I've enjoyed this different take on the story. I hope you'll continue it. I'm anxious to see Harry's relationship with Neville grow and him discover Ron and Hermonie's perfidy.

Excellent version of the Philospher's Stone and I am looking forward to Harry's summer activities as well as what will happen in Second Year.
I read that Second Year was previously up and has since then taken down as you revise. Hopefully, HP can lure you back and your Muse allows you to work on "What They Don't Know". And hopefully soon as it's been 11 months since your last update.
Anyway, that's for the fic and maybe I'll be writing a review about a new chapter soon *hint**hint*

i stumbled upon this story and once i started couldnt stop till i got to the last chapter posted
i was disappointed when i found there was no more lol but happy to not see an abandoned or up for adoption notice eagerly awaiting more in this story and will be reading everything else from the homepage

Wow- Brilliant story, great chapters. At first I was a bit skeptic about this story but after the first few paragraphs, in the first chapter, it grew on me. It has a good plot-line and the old magic (the blessings) and the gifts in return were pure genius! It was very enjoyable to read something new and unique. The story is detailed well and there were very few grammar and spelling mistakes, so I was really pleased and happy.

Honestly though, the SnapeXHagid paring scared me at first, cause I've never seen anything like it. But as I read more of the story, the pairing became more acceptable and normal within my mind-frame. It really was odd in the beginning, however, it was a re-freshening appeal. XD

I just reread this story and love it just as much now as the first time through. It's very original and has some wonderful plots all woven into an incredible story. I hope to see more of it, and all your other stories as well.
