Very nice beginning. Are you going to continue this?

Wow...I can't explain to you how much I loved this. And its just a prologue at that. I love Jasper and Rosalie and it saddend me that there characters weren't explored further in Twilight.

'He had seen her in passing, heard of her on the lips of every aspiring debutante, gossipy old woman, and hormonal shop boy. She beamed from the papers, hair a luminous white against her inky grey face. She was to be wed to someone, she was eighteen, and now she was gasping for breath, beaten and broken on cold pavement.'

Something tells me that this young lady that Jasper encountered was Rosalie.

'He turned and ran before a breeze blew and the blood could hit him again in full force. His mind was so frenzied, his own emotions overtaken by her fear, that he didnt catch the scent of another: colder, and reeking of compassion.'

I can't even begin to imagine Jaspers struggle with bloodlust and his powers. If vampires become frenzied by bloodlust so greatly, I can't even imagine Rosalies fear that he felt to became so frenzied as to run away from her and the blood that called to him.

This was amazing. It truely was a good read and I hope you will continue.

That line just blew me away. You manage to create very specific pictures, describe everything that's going on without rambling on and on with descriptions. Very, very well done. *alerts* Great job!

It frustrates me SO much that you don't get a lot of reviews. This is only a prologue (though you're not going to finish, are you?) and it's already brilliant. You description of things is so good, it's almost film-like, amazing.

Wow, that was really powerful. I loved the ending-not the ending I was expecting, per se, but excellent. Jasper's been a recent favorite of mine and so this was a good read for me.
