I'm late as well, but I'm so busy these days. I enjoyed this chapter. Loved the "wear jeans". Thought about whether or not Emily would choose a jeans skirt, lol.

I like that Jake is still reserved. I'm still hoping for that Emily/Jake scene.

Though I didn't get the Bo, Luke, Duke reference. And the song I also didn't recognize, but that's surely because I don't know the original names/song, only the German ones. Because I have the suspicion that they're the nephews of Dagobert Duck? Lol, maybe that's also the German name. Anyway.

Jake still isn't ok with Emily. Somehow I'm glad. Lorelai and now Luke forgave her too fast for my taste. But well, after all Lorelai wants the contact for the kids' sakes mainly. Still :)

So Luke is really still that unforgiving? I wonder how that plays out. I feel for Emily, but of course he's right - she can't demand his forgiveness. However did I miss her apology to the kids? I'd really like an Emily/Jake scene - how he acts around her now.

I liked the car scene between E/R. That was very much them. Interesting Richard thinks she never relied on him, concerning her feelings - I wonder if that's true. Anyway it's good she broke now.

Like the Lane/Luke scene as well. It shows he's really thinking about it.

Really interested in how the Emily/Luke thing plays out. Will he go to her? I can't imagine her constantly apologizing waiting for the day he finally accepts.

I just caught up on this story...I hadn't had a chance to read it since august. Anyhow...still love it. Especially Steve. He's great. Stars Hollow needed someone like him.
Also, I'm from the greater Cleveland area... definitely got a kick out of the idea of Rory writing for the Plain Dealer.

Awesome chapter like always. One of my favorites. I think you should have Lorelai buy new sexxy outfits often. Seems to make her, Steve and Luke happy. Hope Sookie get things right w/ Jackson.

The tension between Emily and Luke could be a nice setup for a Luke/Lorelai fight too ;) Lorelai wanting to make it right with her mother, Luke not being able to get past it, and we have a fight :)

Lorelai forgiving Emily. Well, I kinda think she's just used to get over things, or past things, like Lane suggested. Past is a better expression.

I'm wondering when Luke will be able to get along with her again, or at least doesn't boil with anger when she's in a room with him.

And Steve, lol. I like him more and more with each chapter. I somehow like he busted Lorelai talking with Sookie. Good thing he drew the wrong conclusions and said it so Luke can take advantage of the situation^^

Great chapter. Grinned at Steve and Luke's interaction in the diner after seeing Lorelai, cried at Richard and Emily's talk, giggled the whole time Lorelai got caught talking to Sookie. Really fun.
