I kept meaning to come back and leave a review for this once I realized you'd put it up, but it kept slipping my mind. Anyway, just dropping in to say that it's looking great so far. Wow this is great. I don't know what i was expecting but i didn't think this would turn into a bodyguard gig. That is over simplified i'm sure, but now you've got me hooked. So sorry I didn't review the last chapter, but I got so busy and the email got deleted and evertying, but I must say you are doing an excillent job with keeping the curiosity up :)

I like how you described Squall in Rinoa's eyes... Extremely good on the transition from his airplane experience to Rinoa watching the tape.

I have a strong feeling it will be sort of like Music Doll Box, but... In a weirder more fantasy kind of form, if that makes any sense at all... Anyways, sorry for rambling. I hope you update all three of your stories soon!

Magnificent chapter.

Beautifully done. I love how Squall so calmly dipacthed them, the remourseless way in which he dealt with the assailants.

And then the contrast, as Rinoa watched him work. The shock and fear she felt and yet contrasted with something else, as yet unthought and unspoken.

I look forwards to seeing what happens when they meet for the first time.

it's fantastic and scary how robotic you portrayed squall to be. Inserting a chip into his skin? aww, that's gonna hurt and it really makes me think he's a robot as though a hole is readily there for him to insert the chip.

Intriguing opener.

Not sure what to make of this one yet, as only bits and pieces have emerged.

Squall already is his stoic self, trapped behind limitation both physical and mental, hiding his emotions deep within.
