Siriusmunchkin 12/7/11 . chapter 2Enjoying this a lot. Mail order brides were very common in the old west. Carlisle and Esme are thrilled for him and will, no doubt, be thrilled when they meet Bella. It definitely won't be all sunshine and roses, but hopefully they'll work things out when they finally meet. Edward may find it hard to understand what Bella did in order to survive, but betting Carlisle and Esme will convince him she had no other choice. |
Siriusmunchkin 12/7/11 . chapter 1Sad that Bella actually had to give her virginity to Mike Newton of all people. But that was a sad fact of life back then. If you had no family and no money you did whatever you had to do to survive. No shame in that. Was laughing out loud at Emmett, Rose, Alice, and Jasper. You fit them perfectly to the right animals and personalities. |
Intsu 11/28/11 . chapter 29Thank you for the hours of enjoyment your story has provided. I especially loved your Bella and Edward (and Jake the wolf). Your portrayal of the difficult times of that era was extremely well depicted and thought out. I got so much pleasure from your characterizations from the other side of the fence - what a delightful way of including the other members of my favourite family. I have been able to laugh uncontrollably and soak many tissues with heartfelt tears - especially your epilogue. I look forward to reading your new stories "Tapas At Twilight" and "The Blood Crystal". Please continue to write more wonderful stories - I have you on author alert. |
whatever2011 11/16/11 . chapter 27I really liked your story. I couldn’t stop reading it and read it all today! I thought your ending was very sweet and made me cry. |
Lahragal 11/15/11 . chapter 27This was such a beautiful story. I have read a few of these stories that take place back in the 1800's and have truly enjoyed each of them. People back then were pure and simple. Their whole lives revolved around family and surviving. It truly gives you the understanding of how many struggled to keep that. Looking forward to reading more of you stories. |
kstar0330 11/1/11 . chapter 27Beautiful beginning together and ending together as well. Never meant to be apart for too long were they. How dare you make me have tears come to my eyes. So sweet she published her stories and bought him a piano and they added to their family. Sad but a very nice Epi. :O( :o) |
