Ok, it took me a little while to figure out that Fred was the son, not the brother, but I got there eventually. It's neat that the twin's flaming escape is still talked about at the school.

But one has to wonder if there's anybody there named Montague who doesn't seem to get along with any of the Weasleys.

I love it when authors do this - they play up to their readers' assumptions and just (dashingly?) dash them aside at the end. And overall, it was a lovely piece - it had lots of hilarious moments ("The Fried Fred?") but it still had bittersweet undertones of nostalgia and loss. Especially the obvious idea that George sees elements of his other half in his son.
Just one thing; I wasn't entirely sure what you meant by "as steely glint in her eye"?

Yeah! I did not see that coming! Great twist and nice ending!

Very in character for them and fairly amusing. Keep writing
