YES HERMIONE!! I think Severus needed to hear an outside opinion on the torch he is holding for Lily. All the better that it was wrapped in a rejection of his plan. I hope Hermione can come clean to Harry and find away to turn this around.

Both Hermione and Severus are a bit unhinged at this point, but Hermione DID say some very provocative things to Snape that he really should hear. Yes, he is still unnaturally devoted to a dead woman who never actually cared for him-- at least not in the way he cared for her. She couldn't even forgive him for calling her a stupid name. That doesn't sound like a great friend or the ideal woman, does it? He's not behaving reasonably or rationally. Snape has to re-examine his view of things and reconsider his course of action. He may be extremely shocked to realize that he is nothing but a fool...

Hermione, on the other hand, has to figure out what she's going to do. I'm interested in reading what your solution for her is.
