I really enjoyed reading this. There was a lot of good imagiry and you managed to Keep Luffy in character. i honestly can't think of a way to make this any better other than to keep learning to not give up on your writing.

This fic is all wonderful, very in character, and the descriptions are beautiful. I like how you slipped in the line about how nothing, including the vegetation, was trying to kill them.

LMFAO I thought this was going to be a serious grim story but it turned out to be all light and happy ahahah man I was fooled but this was so cute! I liked the transition from simple sentences to in-depth descriptions of the crewmembers' points-of-views of Luffy. Geez him dancing. hah.
