I'm a L fangirl, but that was great. You have to accept a character's flaws! I adore Near just as much as L, but I still think he's annoying as hell sometimes.

Even if I'm more a L-fangirl, I really enjoyed your story? list?. Whatever... It was still good and it make me see Light in a new LIGHT (crappy pun not intended). As a matter of a fact, I DID read a story where L was a pole dancer. Light was one too, but that's beside the point.

I am SUCH a Light fan. I'll take him over L any day, and it's so sad to see that we're such a minority. Seriously, I've met a lot of Matt fans and he has 18 panels in the manga. That's it. 18.

I totally agree with 10. You can definitely rape Light! (Lol...that came out wrong...) I mean, think about it...he's absolutely gorgeous...but at the same time he is only about 118 pounds or so (I think that's how much he is...I read it somewhere). He spends more time in the outside world, he's probably more vulnerable in general. L is one of the most protected people I've ever seen and Watari took him to the Wammy House when he was still a very small child, maybe six or so. Light was out in the big bad world until he was 17 or 18...and then he was tied up for fifty days...and handcuffed to an older man for an extended period of time...that's pretty creepy and rapish right there...

Light would totally cut himself (Again...coming out wrong) I mean, with all that trauma going on in his life, there has to be SOME conflict in himself.

And I read a "Light is a stripper" fic too. L also became a stripper...and a better one than Light was (Boo.)

And Light shows way more emotion! He laughs he, gets angry: I mean, he did throw the first punch when he was mad at L, after all. When he dies he calls out for people. He has emotions, and when he's not Kira he doesn't really make much of an effort to hide them. It's so cute!

Light is more human. It endears him. I love him for it.

Oh, and on that note. I am so SICK of everyone saying "L is so good...so righteous...Light is such a hypocrite!"

I mean, yeah, Light was a pretty big hypocrite. But then, L wasn't exactly the perfect model of justice either.

He kept a girl tied up, strapped to some sort of contraption, blindfolded, and (for some of it) gagged...for what, 50 days? With a teenage boy tied up hands and ankles, also for 50 days. He then proceeded to handcuff the boy to himself.

How in the world is that fair? How is that justice? L doesn't play fair, either.

Anyway, that was a rant in response to a rant.

L's cool and all...but I like him more as an idea than an actual character. And I think it says something that I completely and utterly disagreed with Kira's ideals in a big way, and still loved Light on a scary, Misa-esque level.

Okay... I'll admit this was hilarious. However, I'm a L fangirl. I just like characters who are so freaking unique it's inhuman. But this was funny. I was laughing my butt off.

And I have to correct you on the L-rape thing. L does get raped a lot; it's just that he's usually portrayed as not caring that he just got raped... which is both funny and sick (ex: "Are you quite done raping me? I have cake to eat"). LOL

Anyway, good job in the sense that it was entertaining!

L DOES get raped.. Actually, I'd say 98%(did I just say that?) of BxL fics(Beyond Birthday, id you dont know) L is getting raped. O_o

Light is definitely fun to mess with, 'cuz he's so uptight like that.

It's funny though, when reading/watching I KEPT AWAY FROM THE INTERNET, because I was so paranoid of spoilers and the whatot. L dies so suddenly, and I just felt like the internet was: L fans: 20% Light fans: 80%.. so it was an odd shock of me to discover his fandom.

Because usually when a character is over-liked it puts me off them..

Anyway, that was kinda off-topic.

Interesting points, though, but I disagree with L being boring, I felt that the writers were intentionally potraying him in that way and leaving out huge chunks of his life out, which got me thinking, "how the fuck do you end up like that?"

XDXD I loved your rant, seriously. And, to contradict ten: Several people have already made L cut himself, cry, scream, be a slut, and be raped and/or tortured (I think the rape was Matsuda, actually.../).

My point being, that all of these fics sucked to high heaven and L was so horribly out of character that my eyes started to bleed.

You do realize that now I'm going to have to write a fic of Light being a stripper who is raped while crying hysterically and then begins to cut himself. XDXD Just because that would be FREAKING AWESOME. ...And out of character.

Just because of Light's character, I have to disagree with number 10: I don't think he really CAN be raped. He'd be the rapist...or not, considering the lady-killer he is (or man-killer, as the case may be). It's kinda hard for me to think of him crying, unless it's an AU fic. Cutting, I can sort of imagine, but not really...Eh. He's still easier to play around with than L, but even easier would be Matsuda, Mello, or even possibly Near, but only because Near ISN'T twenty-six and still has the emotions of a teenager, even if he hides them so well.

...It's really tempting to come up with a serious, full-blown fanfic rebuttal (...how do you spell that? O.o), but I'm too lazy to do it. _ Oh well.

But I love L and Light just about the same amount.

I just can't get over how ADORABLE Light looks in that one part in the anime, when he's with Misora and he GIGGLES! I thought that was one of the cutest things ever. Oh, and the look on his face after he loses memory of the Death Note...was the cutest.

And I love the transformation of Light through the manga...it's like innocent...getting a bit weird...kinda insane...inncocent again...completely insane...mental-home worthy...and then dead. Haha, I like this list thingy! Light is damn awesome.

But neither L nor Light measure up the the awesome and sexiness of Mello! LOL!
