*whir* I love the idea of whirring whenever I turn my head or focus my eyes on something far-distant or macro-close. :)

I really liked this chapter. Very little dialoque, though what's said is effective. I think I really like the idea of a world of silence brought on by one's isolation by advanced evolution...

Anyroad, I can't pick out any specific things to complement, so I shall discuss this with you in-depth at a later date.

I like this chapter. Good writing, obviously heading somewhere, along with the interesting idea of Skyfire becoming a mentor for Optimus. Always thought of Megs and Prime as being the Ancient Commanders, the rest kinda like children in comparison. All in all, a solid chapter.

My two favorite lines:

"It's a thankless job, but someone has to do it." XD

Megatron hesitated. Optimus looked happier than he’d seen him in… Primus, he looked happier than Megatron had ever seen him.

ARGH. THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR EATING DINNER. I MISSED THIS BY, LIKE, AN HOUR.

That...that was magnificent. Wonderfully, terribly magnificent. Poor Skyfire!! Poor Optimus!! Poor Aster!! *wails* D: I swear, it's like Skyfire is an angst-generator. He always drags it along with him. And poor, poor Aster! Skyfire might find it within himself for forgive (or not even blame at all in the first place) Optimus for this, but Aster is clearly not able to. But then who would've guessed that the only one who would be negatively affected would be Skyfire? (Only Skyfire...)

Optimus is so wonderfully wracked with guilt and he knows that Skyfire's death is his fault and he knows that things are going wrong with Megatron and he knows that life in general is about to go down the toilet, he just can't do anything about it D:

That Aster/Sky love/angst there (along with that description of how messed up by this Aster is and his muttered "You did this to him" as you can see him slowly twisting into Starscream) almost made me cry D: Those two are so tragic and yet so adorable all at once. Wonderful job!

BOWS DOWN BEFORE YOU AND THE CLICHE LOVE TRIANGLE OF DOOM. BUT MOSTLY TO YOU. E! Skyfire and Aster!! E OP/Elita/Megs! (How did you know I have a secret love for that angst-triangle? TWINS, I TELL YOU) E self-sacrificing Megs! E in general!

On a more coherent note, I really love the way you write. It's in the little details - like the different colors of the different Academies, the subtle way you're describing their human looks, everything- and it really makes a difference. I absolutely ADORE the way you had Optimus describe Skyfire, as well as the hints towards future Skyfire/Aster, the way Optimus fell and fell so hard I could hear the smack through my computer screen for Elita, and ESPECIALLY how self-sacrificing you made Megs there at the end. It just makes me want to yell "Don't do it, Megatron! It won't work! It will end badly!!" at the screen.

Overall, wonderful job!

Wow! No starscream,... yet. Really good so far. a couple of spelling erors but interesting story, keep up the good work and FINISH this one!

You know, this is the first Human!TFs I've seen that I find actually believable. But in this case it's not giant robots suddenly turning into humans, it's humans slowly turning into giant robots because of radiation from a giant alien cube. THIS ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE WHY HAS NO ONE THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE? Also, I love the names (the original names) of the brothers and what they imply. I think "Aries" is my favorite pre-Megatron name for Megatron.

I love the implied dynamic between the brothers based upon their names. :) This was a good chapter, and I love having a sympathetic "bad" guy. Oh, and you should try listening to this song 'How it ends' while reading the chapter. It really fits...

Oni, this is shaping up to be one of your best fics to date. Never before have I felt as giddy as I was but moments ago reading this story. I am very much looking forward to the way you shape this sure-to-be-epic tale.
