wow! i love this, i mean i really really REALLY love this. this is just freaking amazing...i swear you turned my heart into mush and that is nearly impossible! i cant believe i didn't read this before! i am literally in love with this. i swear now i'm going to be spacing out about this. this just opened a whole other door. there are some other Lily/Sirius friendship fics out there but this is hands down the best!! seriously in LOVE!

I know you weren't writing this to ship lily/sirius, and i totally get you're displaying the genesis of their friendship... but lily/sirius was a bit hot *g*

Besides the point, though... I love friendship fics and this fic does so well in getting them to a point where they obviously care a great deal for one another. I actually think my favourite part was the bit where Sirius did want to kiss her and she reminds him of James. For someone like Sirius who is in general a loyal person (especially to James) it definitely would've been a big wake up call.

need i say something? its perfect. absolutely perfect =) you have a way of.. how do i describe it? making the reader feel like they're there. like they're living it themselves. and thats the best thing that can be said about a written work. =) keep it up.

I'm going on a spree and trying to read pretty much everything you have written because there is just something about your writing that takes me away into their world in a way no other author has ever been able to do before. I absolutely love your voice and your characterization. It makes it all seem so real which makes it more enjoyable to read. Great job once again :)

Aw that was adorable. I seriously love the relationship you have here between Lily and Sirius, no pun intended. Because you're right, Lily would have to be extremely close to Sirius also, considering how close James and Sirius were. The ending was perfect!

i loved this! it was very well-written; the characters were ic and the THING with sirius and lily was nicely handled. it didn't cross boundaries into the inappropriate and inconceivable. you didn't forget or choose to ignore sirius and lily's respective loyalties to james, and i love that. the best part is you tapped into lily's youth, and her curiosity--what'd it be like to kiss the hot, popular kid at school. just makes it realistic, in a way that doesn't bend too much out of canon. they zigged and they zagged, until they came to this level of mutual understanding and respect--and that's exactly what you've brilliantly shown here.

this is how I always imagined them too! I loved it ;D
