I LOVED the plot. It was realistic and very unique - most fics tend to stay in universes where being gay is taken for granted, while it isn't true even in DGM's canon university. Overall this is only the second war fic. Plus I could relate quite well, as my country was occupied during WWII for some time too, and we have quite a lot of literature and cinematics on that.

Your details are very realistic and well-thought-out; I loved how you pictured the monotony of the concentration camp and their whole feelings. You're really good in describing; even though there wasn't too much of a dialogue, I never missed it.

Finally the end - I would call it 'sappy', but it did seem a little rushed since the circumstances were nearly magic considering to the tragedy that befell on them - it could have taken a bit longer for them to meet up, but all in all, I'm completely fine with it as long as I get a happy ending. I LOVE happy endings.

In short: AWESOME WORK. Keep it up. I look forward to see more from you!

I'll be honest, I was a LITTLE confused because I'm not a history buff haha, but I really did like the plot, I think it was an interesting idea. And after reading this I have to say, you can defiantly write hun :)! And Kanda and Lavi aren't even that OOC at all, I actually think you depicted them and their relationship rather well. Especially if this is the first fic you wrote about them? Yes the ending was a little sappy, but hey, everyone loves some fluff every now and then haha. So overal good job!
