I know im really late to this story and i dont know if you would even read this but you are an amazing writer! You had me crying, this is such a great story. Loved it!

-Latest review ever- I only found PA yesterday and I've read all of that and this in that time. Loved it to death and I love this one too. Thank you for having Nellie reveal that she killed Lucy. It was hanging over my head the whole time. I'm gonna go look through your fics and find another one now. Thanks for another great read. :')

holy shit. that's seriously all i have to say. this is so dark and good and i hate and love the ending and oh my god i was soooo scared for nellie /3 but gahhh it's just so perfect!

Omg. Amazing.I began reading Public affairs two days ago, and it was amazing... and this, Obsession, it was just so bloody dark, I loved it, I was really worried you would kill them, the story, it just drew me in. I'm honestly surprised you never had anything like Tobi finding out the source of the meat pies. But all the same, best Sweeney Todd fics I've read to date, and I'll defiantly be checking out your others.

I almost had a bloody heart attack reading this! I totally thought he was gonna kill her because- well thats just how sweeney is and thats why we love 'em:)) hahaha

This is such a perfect ending. You have no idea how much I love this final chapter. Everything about it was just /right/. I was almost having a heart attack all the way through because I was certain that Sweeney would lose it and kill her. I also noticed the parallels between this chapter and the Final Scene, and they worked beautifully.

When Nellie was going "does our /child/ deserve to die?" I was on the same wavelength as Sweeney, thinking, "no, I love Jimmy! Don't do it, Sweeney!" And then she dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant again! I was not expecting /that/ by any stretch of the imagination, especially since no indication of it was given in chapter eighteen! I'm so happy she's pregnant again though, since it snapped Sweeney out of his insanity. Although it's ironic that she was terrified of getting pregnant when she got raped by that bastard, and the way she falls pregnant this time is by receiving the same treatment from her husband. That's gotta be pretty tough to deal with. D:

Also, dropping the bombshell about Lucy was genius. I thought for sure that Sweeney was going to kill her then, but it stopped him enough not to. At least she was good enough for something, eh? ;D

The ending of this 'fic was beautiful and I loved the mirror of the scene in the barbershop before stupid Anthony burst in, as that's the most tender scene between them in the movie, IMO, and is a clear example of what might have been. Personally, I would LOVE a sequel to this because the Public Affairs saga is my favourite of all time, but I know you're writing other Sweenett 'fics too, so as long as you carry on writing Sweenett fanfics, I'll be alright. ;D

Thank you for writing such a worthy sequel and giving me many hours of enjoyment whilst reading them. Again, you put so much emotion into it, and I’ve been laughing, crying and pissed off with the characters all the way through. I loved everything about this and I hope you continue to write Sweenetts forever. :D

I ADORE this chapter, you write Sweeney's feelings so bloody well! Everything about this chapter was perfection, and it was so chilling too. I'm actually terrified right now. Sweeney is really scaring me! It was interesting to read this chapter from Sweeney's POV since the last one was from Nellie's - nice touch. But what an evil cliffhanger! Luckily I can speed off ahead now. ;)

I am so glad I don't have to wait for an update on this, otherwise I think I'd die from it. xD

I feel so sorry for Nellie right now. It's typical of her to walk about as if in a dream, in denial about the fact that Sweeney has left her. The dreams she's been having made me want to cry, especially since they're just dreams. And the one about Sweeney coming back to rape her again was so dreadful and chilling.

The contrast with the memory was done wonderfully. I had to giggle at her faking an orgasm, even though it wasn't the appropriate time for me to be laughing...but the subject of the discussion was very unsettling, especially the line: 'He sighed heavily. "Nellie Todd," he said to her, "The only way I'll ever be leaving you…is in death."' And now Sweeney is back. And it really doesn't look good for poor Nellie. I hope nothing happens to her! D:

I swear my heart just plummeted into my stomach when I read the last part of this chapter. D: I can't believe he's left her! It's a noble thing to do, to leave so he doesn't hurt her anymore...but he should know that leaving her will cause her more pain than anything he could ever do to her.

The contrast between family life and the problems they're dealing with was played off beautifully here. I was almost in tears with Nellie at the beginning of the chapter because of what Sweeney did to her...and then came the beautiful scene with Nellie and Jimmy. I couldn't help but smile at him saying his first word...but Sweeney doesn't know about it. D:

I love the way you wrote his confusion when he "came to", and how he automatically thought that Nellie had enjoyed the sex with him too; it only served to highlight how unaware of things he is when he loses it. The confrontation in the barber shop was upsetting to read, but it was handled wonderfully. He totally deserved that punch, but the confrontation was really saddening to read. I was almost in tears over it.

And this: 'Finally she said quietly with a trembling but firm voice, "I would do anything for you….anything. You know that. All I've done already…all I know I'll do in the future…anything you ask…but don't you dare ask me to stop loving you - how could you? That's the one and only thing I'll never do for you Sweeney Todd…"' was some of the most gorgeous dialogue I have ever read...it sums up Nellie's feelings for Sweeney completely. I loved it so much.

The beginning of the chapter unnerved me with the whole dream about blank-eyed Sweeney, but I never thought that /this/ would happen! I'm almost in tears for poor Nellie here; it was bad enough for her to experience rape once with a perverted bastard, but for her husband, the one man she loves entirely, to violate her in such a way is heartbreaking. You did brilliantly with the rape scene though - it was so emotional and you portrayed Sweeney's insanity so well throughout. I agree that he goes completely crazy in 'Epiphany' and doesn't seem to know what he's doing afterwards, and you mirrored it so beautifully here. I really, really enjoyed this chapter, even if it was depressing.

Wow, this was HOT! I loved everything about it! Sweenett S&M fits those two so perfectly, and this is perfection itself. 3 Haha, I loved the bit at the beginning where he had to "find" the other part of his present...trust Nellie to shove it up there! xD

Seriously though, this side of their sexual relationship shows off Sweeney's sadistic side so well, and I was worrying in the back of my mind that he might take things too far, which was a nice touch. Also, I think I /might/ know the point of this chapter, so if I'm right then you did well at getting it across. And if I'm wrong...well, you still made me think about it, so the same applies. ;)

Some of the hottest sex I've ever read. ;)

This has to be one of my favourite chapters so far, simply for the sex scene. That was insanely hot. I think I would have died laughing if Nellie had come in front of the customers, although it's probably a good thing she didn't since I would have woken the whole house and since it's past midnight I don't think the parents would be too pleased. xD I for one would be more than eager to read about Sweeney receiving the same treatment, as Nellie suggested it, haha. ;) In all seriousness though, that scene was fucking HOT! Definitely one of the hottest smut scenes I've ever read!

The rest of the chapter was just as good though. I love how Toby is concerned for his Mum, but at the same time makes things worse by poking his nose into their business. And I "aww"'d at Nellie cleaning Sweeney's wound - she's too cute sometimes.

I can't wait to read about Sweeney's anniversary present, so I'll press on now! :D
